
AFCAT Apply Online 2025: The Indian Air Force (IAF) reopened the link to edit the AFCAT 2 application form. The correction window was available from August 7 to 9, 2025. Candidates can correct details such as name, DOB, Gender, Aadhaar Number, Photograph, and Signature. To access the correction window, candidates need to login with the user ID and password.
The window to fill the AFCAT 2 application form 2025 closed on July 1, 2025. Only online applications were accepted for AFCAT 2 2025 exam. The application form was released along with AFCAT notification 2025. AFCAT application fees were INR 550 with GST charges. The application fees were common across various categories.

AFCAT Online Application Correction
AFCAT application form correction window is activated by IAF after the application process closes. Only two sections are editable, 'Fill Application Form' and 'Upload Document'. Using the correction window, candidates can edit the details such as Candidate's name, Father's name, Passport Size Photo, Signature, Thumb Impression. No other fields are editable. No extra fee is charged to make the changes in the application form. The facility for editing the application form can be done by candidates who register successfully and pay the application fee.

Course Preference: Applicants need to select, Flying, Ground Duty (Technical), Ground Duty (Non-Technical). Candidates who have graduation/post-graduation in Engineering/equivalent technical qualifications are required to appear in EKT. The examination authority reserves the right to allocate branches to candidates as per their suitability and vacancies, irrespective of the choices entered by the candidates.
AFSB/SSB appeared candidates: Candidates need to choose whether passed/failed/not appeared for AFSB/SSB interview. Besides, they need to enter the batch number, the place where they appeared, the number of days.
Source of information for AFCAT: Candidates need to list the source of information from where they came to know regarding the AFCAT exam.
GATE Score: Candidates need to enter their GATE score and the year they appeared in the exam.

Step 3: Paying AFCAT Examination Fees
- After filling the AFCAT application form, candidates need to pay INR 550 as examination fees
- The fees can be paid online through credit/ debit cards/ net banking
- Candidates need to click ‘Make Payment’ to pay the fees
- On confirmation from the bank, the payment status will display the registration number

What is AFCAT Eligibility?
Applicants filling AFCAT application form must check their eligibility before applying for the exam. The eligibility criteria are certain parameters in terms of age, educational qualification, physical standards and nationality which candidates need to fulfill inorder to qualify the exam. Candidates applying for the Flying Branch should be aged between 20 and 24 years while it is 20 and 26 years for the Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches.
