The CSIR NET Syllabus of Part A of all five subjects is the same. Part A contains questions related to General Science, Quantitative Reasoning, and Analysis and Research Aptitude. Part A contains 20 MCQs and candidates are required to answer any 15 questions. Each question carries two marks. The total marks allocated to Part A are 30 out of the total 200. No. The syllabus of CSIR NET is the same for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) and Lectureship (Assistant Professor). The difference that lies is only in the cut-off marks and not in the syllabus.
