MP TET Exam Pattern 2024 is prescribed by the Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MP ESB). The MP Primary School TET exam pattern informs about the number of sections, marking scheme and exam duration. Candidates should be aware of the latest MP PSTET paper pattern to prepare for the exam accordingly. The MP TET exam for PSTET contains five sections: Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics and Environmental Studies. The Madhya Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (MP TET) is conducted for different levels Primary School Teacher, Middle School Teacher and High School Teacher. The MP TET exam pattern varies for all these three levels. Candidates need to appear for the Primary School TET exam if want to teach Classes 1-5. On the other hand, candidates need to appear for Middle School TET if they want to teach Classes 6-8 and for Classes 9 to 12, candidates need to appear for High School TET exam. Q:   What is the marking scheme of the MP TET exam?

The MP TET examination has 150 questions, each is for one mark. Candidates do not lose marks if they answer incorrectly. To be eligible, candidates must score at least 60% marks. The exam is divided into two papers.

Q:   In which mode the MP TET exam is conducted?
A: 

The MP TET exam is conducted in offline mode as a pen-and-paper based test. Candidates need to mark their answers on the OMR sheet. The candidates need to fill the sheet carefully as no extra OMR sheet will not be given in the exam. However, the MP TET application process is complete online process. The candidates have to fill out he application form online on the official website. Other than this the application fee have to paid online.

MP TET Exam Pattern 2024

The MP TET exam pattern differs for Primary, Middle and High School Teachers. All these three levels of the MP TET exam share similarities in terms of the number of questions, marking scheme and exam duration. Each paper comprises a total of 150 MCQs of 1 mark each. Nature & Standard of Questions in Primary School TET Paper

  • Child Development and Pedagogy section questions focus on the educational psychology and teaching methods for students of 6-11 years of age.
  • Language-II is different from language-I. Candidates can choose Language-II from- Hindi/ English/ Urdu/ Sanskrit.
  • Questions in Mathematics and Environmental Studies (EVS) test the candidate's clarity of concepts in these subjects, their problem-solving abilities and understanding of teaching methods.
