SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates must be:
- Citizen of India
- The subject of Nepal and Bhutan
- Tibetan refugees who have come to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in the country
- Persons of Indian origin who have migrated from countries like Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, the United Republic of Tanzania, Uganda, and Kenya.
SBI Clerk Age Limit 2026
The age of candidates for SBI Clerk recruitment must be between 20 and 28 years. It is such that candidates must have born not earlier than August 2, 1995 and not later than August 1, 2003 (Both Days Inclusive). As per the government rules, candidates belonging to the reservation categories are given age relaxation in the upper SBI Clerk age limit.

Candidates who are working in SBI in the Clerical cadre are not eligible to apply under this project. Candidates who were earlier employed in State Bank of India and resigned from the Bank while in clerical cadre will also be not eligible to apply for the post.
