The State Bank of India (SBI) is one of the largest banks in India. A prospective banking aspirant would consider it a matter of pride and honour to be chosen to work with SBI. Every year, the State Bank of India conducts different types of examinations in India. Every exam has a different SBI Exam Pattern and the SBI Syllabus 2025 is also slightly different for each of the exams. Although the major subjects remain the same, the difficulty level of questions in each of the exams is different. The SBI syllabus highlights the topics that candidates need to cover under each section of the test.

The State of Bank (SBI) does not prescribe the SBI Syllabus 2025 for various exams. SBI syllabus is more or less common for Probationary Officers (PO) and Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) posts. The first and foremost step towards the SBI Exam is going through the syllabus. This article has provided the SBI Syllabus for the following exams.

SBI PO Syllabus 2025

BI PO prelims syllabus includes topics such as Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and English Language. SBI PO mains syllabus includes topics such as Quantitative Aptitude (QA), English Language, and Reasoning Ability, Computer Aptitude, General/Economy/Banking Awareness, etc. The total marks allotted to SBI PO prelims exam are 100. The total marks allotted to SBI PO mains exam are 250.

There are many books available in the market, however, candidates must choose those books that have covered the entire syllabus. For Quant, candidates can refer to Quantitative Aptitude for Competitive Examinations by RS Agarwal. For Reasoning, candidates can refer to A Modern Approach to Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning by R S Agarwal. For English candidates can refer to English Grammar and Composition by Wren and Martin. For the General Awareness section, candidates can refer to Banking Awareness by B K Raut and SR Behera.
Q:   What is the difficulty level of SBI Clerk exam?
A: 

The difficulty level of the prelims exam is usually easy. The English and Reasoning sections are easy, whereas, Maths section is easy to moderate. The Mains exam paper is usually moderate. The difficulty level of the English Language section is easy, Quant section is moderate, Reasoning & Computer Aptitude section is moderate and General/Financial Awareness section is moderate. The prelims exam of SBI Clerk carries questions from Reasoning, English Language and Quantitative Aptitude. The total marks allotted to the test are 100. The mains exam of SBI Clerk carries questions from General/ Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude. The total marks allotted to the test are 200. Candidates qualifying the mains exam are called for Language Proficiency Test.
