SBI Recruitment 2025: The State Bank of India (SBI) announced the SBI PO 2025 recruitment notification on June 24, 2025SBI PO recruitment notification was released in PDF form and comprises the important details related to the exam. SBI PO application form was published after the notification was released. 

SBI Clerk 2025 

The State Bank of India (SBI) released the notification for SBI Clerk recruitment notice on August 5 to fill up a total of 6589 Vacancies. SBI Clerk apply online link was activated on August 6, 2025. The last date to fill SBI Clerk application form was August 26, 2025. 

The selection process of SBI PO recruitment comprises a preliminary exam, mains exam, psychometric test, group exercise, and interview. The selection process of SBI Clerk comprises prelims and mains exams. Deputy Manager Law:

Degree in Law (Three years/ Five years) from a recognised University in India.

Senior Special Executive

(Data Analyst) & Senior Executive (Statistics):

Postgraduation in Statistics/Maths/Economics from a recognised university with a minimum of 60%.

Deputy Manager Law: 25 to 35 years (42 years with a minimum of 8 years of experience)

Senior Special Executive

(Data Analyst): Maximum age is 37 years

Senior Executive (Statistics): 35 years

SBI Circle-Based Officers

Graduation

The age of candidates should be between 21 and 30 years as on December 1, 2022. The educational qualification required for the exam is Graduation in any discipline

SBI Recruitment 2025: Application Form

SBI Application Form can be filled out online only. The application fee which can be paid online is INR 750 for General, EWS, and OBC candidates. SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee. Candidates should follow the given below steps to accurately fill out the SBI Application Form.

In the event of candidates not being able to fill the SBI PO application form data in one go, they can save the data already entered by using the 'Save' button. Candidates need to login with their required credentials to complete the application process. After registration candidates are required to pay the requisite application fee through online mode by using debit card/ credit card/ Internet Banking. In case of any problem in filling up the form, payment of fee/ intimation charges or receipt of Admission/call letter, queries can be made on the phone number-022-22820427 (between 11:00 AM to 06:00 PM on working days) or lodge their query on http://cgrs.ibps.in. Q:   What is SBI Clerk negative marking?
A: 

There is a negative marking in the SBI Clerk exam. 1/4th mark assigned to a particular question is deducted as a penalty for wrong answers. For correct answers in the exam, candidates score one mark. The total marks of candidates are calculated based on the number of correct and incorrect answers. The corrected scores obtained by each candidate in different sessions of the exam are normalised using the equi-percentile method. Scores upto two decimal points are taken for the purpose of calculations. The marks of candidates are calculated as per marking scheme. Candidates should attempt maximum number of questions to secure the desired score in the exam.

Q:   How many papers are there in SBI exam?
A: 

The number of papers in SBI exam are different for different posts. SBI Clerk prelims exam carries three papers and total marks allotted to the test are 100. SBI Clerk mains exam carries four papers and carries a total of 200 marks. SBI PO prelims exam carries three papers. The total marks allotted to the prelims exam are 100. SBI PO mains exam carries both objective and descriptive tests. The total marks allotted to the test are 250.

Q:   What is the process after being selected as SBI PO?
A: 

On joining, the selected candidates will be designated as Probationary Officers and may be on probation for two years. They will be subjected to continuous assessment, as per Bank’s extant policy, during the probation period. Those candidates who qualify in the assessment as per standards determined by the Bank from time to time, will be confirmed in the Service of the Bank in Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I).

Q:   What is the duration of SBI exam?
A: 

The duration of SBI exam is different for different stages of selection. The duration of the prelims exam is one hour for SBI PO and Clerk exam. The duration of the mains exam is two hours for SBI Clerk exam and 3 hours 30 minutes for mains exam. There are also sectional timings in SBI exam.
