Ramaiah Institute of Technology is an autonomous private engineering college affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University. MSRIT was established in 1962 and is ranked 78 by NIRF 2023 among the top Engineering colleges in India. MS Ramaiah is accredited with an A grade by NAAC and NBA. Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) Seat Allotment Results have been released up to Round 2 for Ramaiah Institute of Technology admission to BE course. According to the Ramaiah Institute of Technology cutoff for Round 1 in 2023, the closing ranks for BE specialisations, including B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering was 1045, for B.E. in Information Science and Engineering was 1769 and for B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering was 3362 for the General category students. Candidates seeking admission to BTech course through COMEDK 2024 scores must follow the below-mentioned steps to register for COMEDK Counselling 2024:

Step 2: Login to Applicant Login ID using the application number and password.

Step 3:  On the next page, click on the 'Counselling Registration' Tab

Step 4: Verify the mentioned details and pay the registration fee to participate in COMEDK Counselling 2023

Step 5: On the successful payment message, close the tab and go back to your application form.

Step 6: Click on the ‘Document Upload' Tab and upload all the required documents.

At the undergraduate level, MSRIT offers four-year BTech and five-year  MTech, to students. BTech is provided in 12 pecialisations such as Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and others. At the postgraduate level, the college offers MBA, MCA,  MTech, and other courses to students. The accepted entrance exams are COMEDK UGET, KCET, and others. Students must clear the entrance exams for successful admissions. 

The mode of application/admission after entrance exams and counselling process is offline. Ramaiah Institute of Technology's MBA programme requires applicants to have a bachelor's degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50%. In order to be eligible for the program, SC/ST and Category-1 students from Karnataka must have a 45% overall average.
