Ramaiah Institute of Technology in a Nutshell.
Placements: The placement percentage is around 70%. The highest placement was 55 Lacs this year, which was off-campus. The average placement for my branch, which is CSE (AI/ML), is 15 Lacs. The top recruiter was Oracle with a 35 Lacs package. Most of the internships applied by the students were off-campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great. The Wi-Fi speed is around 100-120 Mbps on average. The libraries are great with a lot of books and a good ambiance. The classrooms are decent, with projectors and green boards. Labs are extremely good, with high-performance computers. The hostel rooms are like hotel rooms. The mess is decent, not that great. The canteen is above average. Medical facilities are top-notch, as we have a medical campus. There are almost no sports and games facilities.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified, as most of them are PhDs with 10+ years of experience. They are supportive as well. The teaching quality is great. The curriculum is up to the mark with Tier 1 colleges. Exams are not that difficult; you can easily pass them with 2 nights of study. The pass percentage is 16 credits out of 40 credits.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in AI and future technologies. The course curriculum is fine, but I wish there were more on-campus internship opportunities. The campus is very small, but the infrastructure is nice. The crowd is decent, with a lot of talented individuals. There are scholarship opportunities for SC/ST/BPL students. There are many extracurricular activities with a good number of clubs. There are two fests: Udbhav and KR Fest.

Placements are really nice.
Placements: An average of 90% of students are placed every year. The highest package offered is 62 LPA by Atlassian, and the average package is about 8 LPA. Top companies include Oracle, Morgan Stanley, Microsoft, Amazon, and many more. Many internship opportunities are available.
Infrastructure: Facilities of the college are nice, but don't expect it to be like other NITs or VIT. Labs are equipped with computers with i7 processors. Wi-Fi facilities are also available inside the campus. There are 4-5 libraries where you can study or borrow books of various domains.
Faculty: Faculty members are nice; most of them have done Ph.D. and M.Sc. from renowned institutions like IISc, Bangalore, and many others. The course curriculum is updated every year, with new concepts being added. Regarding semester exams, 1 week is enough to score 8.5+ CGPA.
Other: I have an interest in AI and ML, so I chose this course. The best thing about this course is that you can get the opportunity to study both the syllabus of CSE (core) and AI/ML. Regarding fests, it's okay; don't expect much. Regarding extracurricular activities, there are lots of clubs of which you can be a member. Overall, if you are an extroverted person, you can easily enjoy your campus life.

Good college and you get a better life.
Placements: Here, 95% students are placed in placements and the highest package is 50 LPA and the lowest package is 10 LPA and the average package is 20 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Infosys, HDFC and Philips. Role offered is manager post.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available on the campus, and the labs are good, clean, and have ACs inside. Classrooms are clean and good. Libraries are open from morning 9 to night 10. Hostels are good, and the food in the hostel is veg. A doctor is available in the hostel to check up on the students.
Faculty: Teachers are brilliant and knowledgeable; they will share their knowledge with us. The course is good and includes different subjects which help students learn. Semester exams are medium and difficult, varying from subject to subject. The pass percentage is above 40.
Other: I opted for this course because placement is good and it is similar to CSE, and the package is also similar. That's the reason I chose this subject. There are two types of scholarships: one is SSP from the government, which provides different amounts for different categories. The other is RIT Alumni Scholarship, provided by pass-out students of Ramaiah, and they provide a laptop, 10,000 amount, and afternoon food for day scholars. Clubs are there on campus, which is very beautiful and small with a huge crowd. Extracurricular activities can be conducted.

Review of the 65th NIRF and second-ranked college under VTU engineering college in India.
Placements: Since our batch was introduced in 2021, there was no placement record. But as per the scenario of placements of seniors in CSE and ISE branches, it can be assumed that the average placement from all CSE and its derivative branches will be above 12 LPA. As far as internship is concerned then we got the opportunity to have an internship in 3rd year. Companies like Apple, Microsoft, and Goldman Sachs often visit our college for recruitment.
Infrastructure: There are two hostels. One of which is dedicated to freshers and it is well-maintained and clean. All facilities are provided. Cameras are installed and guards are deployed on each floor. The hostel food is good. The mess is hygienic. South and north Indian foods are provided. Medical facilities are also available. Sports and games are available but not given much importance. The whole engineering campus is well-equipped with Wi-Fi.
Faculty: Some faculty members are good. The 1st-year curriculum is irrelevant as physics and chemistry type of subjects are taught. The rest of the year course is good. Semester exams are not difficult unless you have paid attention during lectures.
Other: Many students opt for this course because it is easy compared to other branches and get good salary packages in the IT sector. The academic curriculum is better but the sports are not focused so it could be improved. The college is situated in the middle of the city from where we have access to the bus station and railway station in a radius of 10 KM.

The best part of this college is it does not have much crowd.
Placements: Placements here are getting improved day by day. This year only Apple has hired 3 students with a salary package of 32 LPA. An international offer for Amazon Poland also has recently been given to a 2021 pass-out student. The international offer of Dubai is provided to a civil student with a salary package of 20 LPA every year in the college. Till now, about 1300 offers have been made to the students, and the placement season is still on.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is amazing here. The college is at par in the infrastructure of that of RIT. The medical section, and all other sections like law, management, engineering, etc., are on the same campus. The campus is huge. Online, it shows only 25 acres as the RIT buildings cover 25 acres, but the rest of the campus is also good.
Faculty: In the first year, we have to study all the subjects. In further years we do not have many electives, so that is a problem as electives make you choose subjects yourself. About 85% attendance is compulsory for sitting in exams which can be adjusted to 75% in special cases.
Other: The location is just amazing. Just inside the college, you will find everything you need. Outside there is a famous BEL road on which you will find all the branded showrooms, food courts, etc. Orion mall is just within walking distance. I have chosen this college and course despite having the option of lower branches at new IIT and mediocre branches in top NITs because of a bit of interest in AI and much because of its outstanding location. I suggest you join RIT.

Placements: 90-95% of students get placed in this course. The highest package is more than 50 LPA. The average package ranges from 7-8 LPA. The lowest package ranges from 3.5-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Wipro, Infosys, Google, TCS, etc., visit the college for placements. 50-70% of students secure internships in companies like Microsoft, Deloitte, etc. Roles like software developer, data analyst, system engineer, design engineer, and consultant are offered to students.
Infrastructure: The campus a high-speed internet connectivity. Labs are well-equipped with modern equipment and software for practical sessions. There are smart classrooms with projectors, audio systems, and comfortable seating. The library has a vast collection of books, e-resources, and journals, along with digital library access. Hostel rooms are clean and spacious. The mess offers clean, hygienic, and balanced meals. They also have an on-campus medical center with a doctor and ambulance facility. There are facilities for both indoor games like chess and table tennis and outdoor games like cricket, football, and basketball. There are gym and dedicated grounds for athletics and events.
Faculty: Teachers are absolutely helpful and qualified. We would really love the way they teach. I am currently in my 1st year, I do see my seniors and in my opinion, they make students industry-ready. In computer science and engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) programs, the pass percentage is approximately 40-50%. Semester exams are generally moderate to difficult.

One of the best colleges in Karnataka in terms of placements and infrastructure.
Placements: MSRIT has very good campus placements. The average salary package is around INR 8 LPA. It is even higher for branches like CSE and ISE. The highest package offered for ongoing placements in 2023 is INR 50 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Cisco, Microsoft, and many more visit for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. The whole campus has high-speed wifi connectivity, and students get free wifi of 10 GB per day, for which they give a coupon that is valid for one year. The college has well-equipped labs and classrooms.
There is a separate hostel for freshers within the campus, but the food is not very good. Canteen and gym facilities are also available on campus.
Our college has separate fields for sports.
Faculty: Teachers are quite good and helpful, but some are very strict. There is a strict attendance policy of 85%. There are only two internal exams, but they give assignments and projects for each course you register for, so you cannot spend more time on extracurricular activities. The semester-end exams are easy, and you can get a very good CGPA.
Other: There are many clubs in the MSRIT, so you can join the club of your interest, but you get very few holidays as the semesters are short and college timing is pretty chill for most of the week. There are many scholarship programs available for students.

Infrastructure: Good infrastructure and hostel facilities. Decent mess food and timely preparation if asked, and the canteen is also good, all kinds of snacks are available. Faculty: Faculty and curriculum are good according to what the course is about, but some subjects are not. Well, the exams are according to what is taught, and you can ace them if you study properly, and you have to learn yourself for being industry-ready and not everything is done by the course.
