Review of Ramaiah Institute of Technology.
Placements: Our college provides good placements. Almost 90% of students got placed in our department. Top recruiting companies are Apple, Morgan Stanley, Oracle, Shell, etc. Many companies visit our college to recruit students for internships and placements. The top role offered is SDE. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college has state-of-the-art buildings. Our college is Wi-Fi enabled. Labs and libraries are equipped with air-conditioners. Our college has 3 libraries. Our college has good weather throughout the year. The hostel facilities are average.
Faculty: Our faculty members are good and cooperative. They help us in all possible ways. They are Ph.D. holders. The course curriculum has good subjects. Some subjects are outdated. They should get revised. The pass percentage is 40%. If you study one week before the exam, you can easily score more than an 8 GPA.
Other: I opted for this course because of my COMEDK rank and interest in computers. The best thing about this course is our faculty members. Our college organises an intra-college cultural fest and an inter-college cultural fest. Our college is spread over 25 acres of land. They provide scholarships to needy students. Many extracurricular activities are held in our college.

According to me the college was just average in college life.
Placements: MS college placement was pretty average; the placements are good, but these days the placement is quite going down. But due to recession, all college situations were like this, so it is not a matter for the college. But most companies are coming with an average package.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are very good, and average food. Hostel workers are friendly with all students and supportive, but in the mess, only veg is available, non-veg is not there. About am a ISE student 2nd year according to me it was not that much of good but it courses are good.
Faculty: Faculties of the Ramaiah College are very supportive and friendly. The schedule for every year remains almost the same but with fewer working days. They will not give holidays after the exam; they will give a maximum of 1 week for enjoyment.
Other: Out batch is totally insane everyone here has a different mindset.

Our college provides good placements, but campus life is not good.
Placements: Placements in our college are pretty good with companies like Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, etc. Many startups also hire students from information science departments with an average salary package of nearly 10 LPA to 15 LPA. The highest salary package offered this year is 41 LPA. Almost all serious students get at least one offer letter before their graduation.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good when compared to other colleges like BMSCE. The whole campus has Wi-Fi connectivity for the RIT students. There are 2 main labs for the information science branch. Apart from them, we are also allowed to use the labs that are setup by other multinational companies like Intel and Apple. We also have a dedicated library for the circuit branch students, which is well equipped with all the required books to give good knowledge. We also have a digital library in our library.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable and qualified. The main problem is the curriculum. It includes most of the topics that are outdated and are not at all used in the industry. The management makes efforts to introduce newer topics such as artificial intelligence. Teachers lack experience in those subjects. We have to study those topics. End-semester exams are pretty easy to score well. Preparation for about 3 weeks would be more than sufficient.
Other: I chose this course because I am very interested in coding and building things. The things I would suggest improving in my course are the introduction of modern topics and the allocation of teachers with specialisation in those topics. The campus life is totally boring. Nothing happens around the campus. Everything is very restricted. Permissions are required to conduct any sort of fests, which aren't granted that easily.

Decent college with a few drawbacks.
Placements: In my branch, information science, almost all students have at least one offer from big multinational companies like Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, Apple India, and many other companies that offer a wide range of job opportunities with very good annual packages. Top roles that can be expected are data analyst, software developer, etc.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is actually very good. There is Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the campus. There are basically 2 labs for my branch; apart from this, we also have a lab established by Intel, which is the Intel core Lab, and a lab established by Apple, Inc. We have a library completely dedicated to the circuital branches, which holds a good amount of books and fulfils our needs completely. The hostel is okayish but can be adjusted. Compared with other hostels or PGs, the college hostel is much better. The mess isn't that good, but that too is manageable.
Faculty: The teachers are indeed helpful and highly knowledgeable, but their knowledge is going to waste as they aren't allowed to showcase their talent to the maximum due to the restrictions set up on them by the college curriculum. I don't think that the college curriculum is up to the mark for what the industry expects from an engineer. I feel the curriculum is a bit outdated. Of course, the curriculum has been revised and modern subjects such as artificial intelligence and machine learning have been introduced, but the teachers have little experience teaching those subjects.
Other: There is literally no campus life out here at the Ramaiah Institute of Technology. It's too boring out here. I may be feeling this due to the COVID situations during my term, but I doubt that it's going to change as the management is not so supportive, may it be about events or fests, etc.

Girls Hostel at MSRIT is quite good. Only the food over there is not quite good. I mean the quality of the food is very good, but its only the taste which is lacking! Otherwise they provide a neat and tidy room with sanitary facilities and also very spacious as well.

CSE at LNMIIT is very nice branch a according to their academic curriculum and placement record and above all these things, interest should be your first priority. So, I think if you are getting CSE anywhere, you should take it and scope of CSE is very good in India if you have relevant skills.
