Eligibility Criteria to pursue Hotel Management Courses
Candidates can check eligibility criteria for undergraduate and PG courses below:
Undergraduate Courses:
- Must complete 12th from a recognized board. Usually need 50-60% marks.
- Any stream can apply, but some schools prefer English as a subject.
Postgraduate Courses:
- Bachelor’s degree needed. Sometimes graduates from any field can apply.
- Usually need 50-55% in graduation.

Yes, there is an age limit to appear in AIHMCT WAT Exam. The candidate should not be more than 22 years of age as on July 01, 2026. The date of birth recorded in the matriculation or equivalent examination certificate will be considered as proof.
To be eligibile to apply for AIHMCT WAT 2026, candidates must have passed 10+ 2 examinations or its equivalent in any academic stream with English as a compulsory subject. Candidates can also apply provisionally, subject to the condition that they produce proof of passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission.
