Mystory@Himanshu Gaur: How I chose Chandigarh University as my college
I wanted to pursue Hotel Management and for the same I was searching for good colleges in North India. I saw many colleges, but none of them seemed satisfactory to me. It was then that I decided to start my college selection on Shiksha.com. The online platform provided correct college details and I finally narrowed down Chandigarh University for my graduation. I applied to Hotel and Hospitality Management course and got selected for the same. Within 10 days of my selection, I took admission in the University. I want to thank Shiksha.com for providing me the right guidance.
The faculty at Chandigarh University is the best for Hotel Management. The teachers are highly experienced, helpful, and always support students. Numerous extra-curricular activities are conducted in the University through which the students get the opportunity to showcase their talent and skills. I spend my time participating in many events – this helps me hone my skills and I also get to learn a lot of new things.
The classes are well-maintained and every class has smart projectors, and the practical labs are well-equipped. The University is clean and provides excellent medical facilities to the students. Also, the security provided to the students is very good and most importantly, this is an anti-ragging campus.

I hail from Rajasthan, and am currently in second year of BSc Hotel and Hospitality Management at Chandigarh University, Mohali, Punjab. I am a good cricketer as well as a footballer. I like watching the news daily related to politics, sports and hospitality.
