The University of Delhi will publish the DU 8th cutoff 2019 on the official website on August 26, 2019, after conducting a special drive again on Aug 20. The DU eighth cutoff 2019 is out for those courses and colleges where seats are vacant. Check the 8th DU cutoff list here…

The University of Delhi on August 26 released the DU 8th cutoff 2019 on its official website. The eighth cutoff 2019 was released for those courses and colleges where seats were vacant.

The University of Delhi on August 26 released the DU 8th cutoff 2019 on the official website for all the three streams - Science, Arts and Commerce and BA programmes. According to media sources, the list was released after the conduct of the special drive again on August 20. Apart from the existing reservation for SC, ST, and OBC, the Delhi University this year had also introduced an additional 10 per cent cutoff for EWS category candidates. It was expected that DU would release only five cutoffs this year but had to release 7th and 8th cutoffs in order to fill all seats in all courses. Last year, the University of Delhi came out with a total of 10 cutoffs to fill all the seats in all courses. This year, the 8th cutoff seems to be the final cutoff of the year. The DU eighth cutoff lists the minimum marks required to take admission in various courses offered by the varsity.

The DU 8th cutoff 2019 has been released only for those colleges and courses which have vacant seats. Candidates who meet the cutoff will have to visit the college for document verification, approval for admission and to pay the fees by August 27 and 28. Candidates must ensure to visit the college to secure a seat on the allotted days. Also, it is important that they carry all the relevant documents for DU admissions 2019 for the document verification process. The university may cancel a candidate’s admission in case it finds any discrepancy. The DU 7th cutoff 2019 was released on August 5.

After downloading the form, they are required to visit the college with the list of required documents. Once the documents are verified, the college principal will approve the admission.

Thereafter, candidates would be required to remit the admission fee by logging on the official website again. The link will be made available on the dashboard. Upon payment of the fees, the candidate’s admission is complete.

Cancellation of admission in a DU college after 8th DU cutoff 2019

In case a candidate gets admission to a different college of his/her choice, they would have to cancel the admission in the current college.

The cancellation process requires a candidate to cancel their admission online and pay the requisite fee for the same. It is suggested that the candidate takes a print of the cancellation receipt.

Now, the candidate needs to visit the existing college to withdraw the original documents upon showing the receipt. The admission in the existing college thereby stands cancelled.

Yes,   for CUET B.Ed (DU), the most reliable preparation resources are a mix of standard CUET books (Arihant, Oswaal, Physics Wallah), free online study material (EduRev, SelfStudys), and previous year papers. These cover English, General Test, Teaching Aptitude, and subject‑specific sections.

With a CUET PG score of 110, admission to M.Sc. Mathematics at Delhi University is very unlikely. DU's CUET PG cutoffs for Science courses, including Mathematics, generally range much higher—often above 200–250 marks out of 300 for the General category.
