DU CUET UG Phase 6 Exam Concludes; 103 students unable to appear for the exam

DU CUET UG 2022 phase 6 exam started on August 24. The last day of exam on August 30 was cancelled at a exam centre Radha Govind University, Ramgarh, Jharkhand. Server issues and technical glitches were observed by candidates on last day of exam.

DU CUET UG Phase 6 Exam

DU CUET UG Exam 2022 concluded on August 30 by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2022 phase 6 commenced on August 24. The last day of CUET UG exam was held for 1,40,559 candidates at 444 centres throughout 239 cities including four cities outside India (Muscat, Riyadh, Dubai, and Sharjah) in two slots. Slot 1 exam timings were 9:00 AM to 12:15 PM while slot 2 exams were held between 3:00 PM to 6:45 PM. 

As many as 14.90 lakh candidates were scheduled to appear in the DU CUET UG 2022 phase 6 exams. 

On the last day of CUET UG exam, candidates faced a lot of technical glitches. As per the report of  ANI, due to slow internet speed, exam at Centre Radha Govind University, Ramgarh, Jharkhand was cancelled. NTA is still awaiting the detailed report about the same. Exams of as many as 103 students were affected. As per NTA, the exam of these 103 students will be resheduled and detailed information about the same will be released soon. As per the report total attendance of students across all centres in the country is estimated to be 60 per cent.

ANI tweeted, ''As per initial reports, due to slow internet speed, the examination at Centre Radha Govind University, Ramgarh, Jharkhand could not be conducted. A detailed report is awaited. Examination for 103 affected candidates will be conducted shortly: UGC Chairman M Jagdesh Kumar.''

Another tweet of ANI read, ''Fourth & last day of Phase 6 of CUET (UG) Exam was conducted successfully for 1,40,559 candidates in 444 Examination Centres throughout 239 Cities including 04 cities outside India (Muscat, Riyadh, Dubai, and Sharjah) in both slots: UGC Chairman M Jagdesh Kumar.''

DU CUET UG Students Reactions

A student said, ''Really disappointed in cuet. There were a lot of mistakes, typos, same options and mismatched answers. I want to know what nta is going to do about the questions which were misprinted or had incorrect options.''

Another student quoting NTA and said, ''Who is responsible for such casual behaviour from your side? Schedule the remaining candidates exam its high time!''

Madhu Sudan said, ''My exam slot 2 got cancelled due to centre gitch my centre was RADHA GOVIND UNIVERSITY centre no. JH06601 I request u take action because my future dependent on it.''

CUET UG results are expected to be released on September 10.
