The college is a great in terms of most of the things.

Placements: The batch for B.A. Economics has around 80 students with 2 sections that is 40 students per section. Around 10% students were placed. The placement opportunities were not that great in the college. There were not enough companies for placements. Since, not enough companies were there so there was no knowledge of salary package. The internship opportunities were also not that good.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was great. The library was well-equipped. The labs had great facilities and the Wi-Fi was really strong. The hostel facilities were also good. It had great canteen and medical facilities. Also it offered big and spacious sports ground for each and every sport.

Faculty: The faculty and teachers were knowledgeable and all had a Ph.D. degree. They were well experienced and had were able to deliver there knowledge to the students. The course curriculum was great it gave in-depth knowledge of the subjects. The course made students ready for the industries.

Other: I wanted to study Economics from my +2. The practical knowledge provided by the course was great. The maths part in the course needs better elaboration. The college was great in terms of events, fest, campus crowd. The college provided worthwhile scholarships and amazing extra curricular activities.

Sophia college has an amazing infrastructure. You'll certainly fall in love with the campus.

Placements: 4-5 companies visited the college for placement. But the process was disrupted due to covid 19. Top companies include Aditya Birla. The maximum package was 6L CTC. Top roles offered were in sales, HR, Digital Marketing etc. It is easy for students to get internship from Internshala.

Infrastructure: Our college is among the few in Mumbai which provide accommodation. The hostel is nice and clean. The mess food is also satisfactory. The hostel has limited seats so you can also look for accommodation near and around the campus. The college has huge classrooms with AV facilities.

Faculty: The faculty is nice and helpful. The professors are very reachable. The teaching quality is up to the mark. There are frequent seminars and speeches regarding either career counselling or regarding some general issue. The canteen is also good with vast variety of food.

Other: The best thing about my course was that I studied 3 subjects till second year and got to select one as my Majors in the 3rd year. It helped me explore my interests. Sophia College has one of the fest best in Mumbai called Kaleidoscope and many other like MUN sophical etc.
