Life at SPM: Pros and Cons .
Placements: The Bachelors in Psychology course does not offer any placement. Although there is guidance on how to find internships outside the college or course, it does not provide any. The course requires at least a master's degree to hold a job in the field. Students often look for internships in hospitals.
Infrastructure: The psychology lab is air-conditioned and hygienic. All the other classrooms are, however, not properly cleaned and have only fans. The canteen offers a variety of items at reasonable prices. There are badminton and basketball courts, as well as a medical room, stationary and sprint shop on campus.
Faculty: Most of the professors in the department are qualified and experienced. However, a few rarely show up for classes and are not professionals. The course curriculum is relevant, along with the research emphasis. The exams are very lengthy and theory-based.
Other: There are a lot of events organized by the psychology department and the campus is pretty. It is within walking distance of the Green Line metro. There are also NSS, NCC and sports opportunities available, along with dance, art, literature and theatre societies. The campus, however, is located within a housing society, leaving absolutely no campus life for students.

I am satisfied with its faculty members and staff.
Placements: This course does not provide students with any jobs students have to do masters and diplomas. Students can also do MBA post this course. There are many options that students can explore after pursuing this course, but this course in itself does not guarantee students a job. Students will have to pursue some master's to get a job.
Infrastructure: Our college does not have a hostel. But there are a lot of PGs around this college. The infrastructure is beautiful along with a big ground and three-floor library. Washrooms are not good. The canteen is good, and the food is fine and cheap.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable. They are determined to make students study with a lot of different activities and practical experiences. The exams are not hard, teachers provide with all the study material. Teachers take a lot of pain to make students study and they are inclusive and interactive.
Other: This course is tougher than psychology honors. It is filled with a lot of practical work around 9 practicals per semester but it gives students an edge over the psychology students because students are equipped with a lot of information about the fieldwork.

I am extremely satisfied with the college.
Placements: The highest salary package is Rs.35,000 per month and the lowest salary package is Rs.20,000 per month. Private companies like Fortis and max fort offer placements. Around 5% of students got placed. Psychologists, psychotherapists, counselors, educators, etc. are the roles offered.
Infrastructure: College is fully equipped with books, computers, and study material. Campus has a separate building for the library but doesn't have a hostel facility but there are many PGs around. There is a nice canteen that covers all types of food.
Faculty: Faculty is well qualified and extremely knowledgeable. Many professors have a doctorate. The curriculum is relevant and deals with practical experience and knowledge. It is quite easy to pass the semester exams because the question comes from the syllabus.
Other: Applied psychology is a great course related to the study of mental health, issues, behavior, etc. Every year college organises a cultural fest called srijan. The nearest metro station is Shivaji park metro station. There are many societies like sports, fashion, dance, music, art also departmental societies. Many seniors received a scholarship from the government for achieving good marks.

I am very satisfied with its excellent teaching staff.
Placements: Many seniors are placed in this college. The highest salary pacakge offered ranges from 10 LPA - 15 LPA. The lowest salary pacakge varies between 2 LPA - 3 LPA. Many students did their internships at Fortis Healthcare Center, Max Fort, and some Virtual Workshops. Psychologists, forensic, psychotherapists, educational psychologists, counselors, human resources managers, etc., are the roles offered.
Infrastructure: It has proper classrooms and laboratories, a separate building for a well-equipped, and a fully furnished library. The canteen is good, the campus has its gym with proper, equipped and fully furnished machines. Medical facility is also available.
Faculty: Professors are well qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching staff is very cooperative, and provides perfect knowledge and skills to the students. It makes students ready for industry. The semester exams are not that difficult, and the paper comes from the syllabus itself.
Other: I opted for this course, because it is a great course if anyone wants to learn about the human mind, behavior, body, and other aspects. The very best thing about this course is that it helps and prepares students for the outside world. I would like that students should get more practical knowledge and experience to enhance their skills. The department has its society called Psychspire which organises proper events. Every year this college has fests. Being in the most posh places, Punjabi Bagh, the campus crowd is huge and decent. The nearest metro station to the college is Shivaji Park, also, it is easy to reach the campus and things are easily available. Previous year the best students received scholarships from the government. Extracurricular activities have proper sports and societies are actively coordinating and working.

This college is good enough for all girls.
Placements: There are no placements in our college for students of our course. Students are supposed to do internships on their own. I did my internship by spending my own money. Even our teachers told me not to do an internship as our college does not solve any problem. Students did internships in various hospitals like Fortis, Max, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not much good here, and every classroom does have a charging point. There is no Wi-Fi, and it is difficult to get a mobile network. The library is good, and the canteen serves a reasonable quantity of food. Fans work very slow here, and there are no air-conditioners except in the auditorium. However, there is the hugest auditorium in our college in DU.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified here. They take proper one-to-one doubts. Courses are completed before the exams, and teachers provide proper notes and tests. Most of the teachers are on leave most of the time, and some new proxy teachers would teach only for few months, which causes a problem.

It was awesome. Loved it. The college readily offers great opportunities of internship.
Placements: The college readily offers great opportunities of internship. I never approached it as I wasn't interested and had different career inclination. But the exposure it provides is great and it sure serves a catalyst to encourage the students to gauge the waters of how the real world works. The offers came through our teachers and was also showcased to us in terms of meetings and conferences.
Infrastructure: Unfortunately during my time the college didn't have any hostel facilities but I have come to know that it is gearing itself for it. The construction of hostels would be a game changer as half of the majority of students who study at SPM hail from distant places.
Faculty: The faculty was awesome. The curriculum was expansive in scope and far from being monotonous. The teachers taught with unbridled passion and eventually we will come to love every bit of Applied Psychology. Since the course is applied, the subject revolved with a pragmatiscm aspect around us and it sure has propelled people to be industry ready.
Other: I chose the subject out of a registration mistake and eventually came around to love the college. I wish the exposure of practical should be more field oriented. The faculty during my time had conducted great programs.

Good faculty and great exposure.
Placements: Unfortunately, the placements were not conducted by our department, so I won't be able to provide a review for that. Although it was conducted for some other departments and to my knowledge, it went quite well. Some top brands or companies were approached by the placement cell.
Infrastructure: My department was equipped with a subject-specific mini library and computer facilities to conduct the practicals. I never stayed in the college hostel so I do not have a personal experience to share. Some friends of mine told me that food quality is good, and medical facilities are also provided.
Faculty: The faculty is quite helpful and very knowledgeable. They focus both on theoretical and practical aspects. The curriculum is absolutely relevant to the psychology course. There are multiple practicals conducted per exam which were connected to the theory.
Other: The college campus is huge and students can enjoy sitting on the lawn and in the canteen. The staff gives equal importance to extracurricular activities along with academics.

It is a good college with nice structure.
Placements: Most of the courses offered by our college are not vocational or professional, so we have to opt for post-graduation after those courses. There is a very bleak possibility of students to get placed after obtaining a degree in a non-professional course. But some students do not get placed.
Infrastructure: Our college is very well maintained compared to other colleges which are under esteemed Delhi University. Our college has a ground, an amazing canteen, audio-video room and various support centres where students can learn. Accommodation facility is also available.
Faculty: The course structure is already defined by the Delhi University. As our course is not usually preferred by the students, I was really satisfied with what all the things provided in the course curriculum. Faculty members were really helpful and guided us throughout the course.
