A Common Admission Test (MGU CAT) is used for the purpose of the MG University application procedure for all courses offered on the university campus. To apply for any of the programmes, candidates must first register online at the MGU CAT official website. Candidates from the general category must pay a cost of INR 1,000, while applicants from the reserved category must pay a fee of INR 500. The steps for applying to MG University are listed below:

PRSU admission 2024 has been completed for all courses. As per the last admission process, the final merit lists have been released for the courses Law and Management courses. CUET PG 2023 Section 1 or the General section was found to be easy to moderate by maximum number of candidates in the examination centres. The questions were on Language Comprehension had questions from unseen passages.The questions were based on Reading Comprehension and the types of questions were direct from the passage, and others were vocabulary and synonym-antonym, idioms and phrases and basic grammatical based.

In Verbal Ability, some basic and simple questions were asked from Spotting errors, blood relationships, sentence equivalence and many more. Some other questions were asked from analytical skills and from GK section.
