Eligibility Criteria of NIELIT Exam
The eligibility criteria for NIELIT exams are as follows:
To pass the NIELIT O/A/B and C levels, a candidate must score 50% marks in each module. The NIELIT O/A/B/C level results will be declared on the official site.
Candidate can check below the steps to apply for the NIELIT.
- Visit the official website and click on 'Apply Online' at student.nielit.gov.in.
 - Select the Certificate Course 'O/A/B/C' Level
 - FIll the Application Form
 - Upload Photograph, Signature and Thumb Impression
 - Submit the Application Form
 - Note down the Unique Appliction Number
 - Take a Print Out of Application Form for Future use
 - Also, pay registration fees via Online Payment Option.

NIELIT Exam Centres
The examination will be conducted at exam centres across India. The exam centres of NIELIT are divided into Primary and Secondary centres. The exams will be held at all Primary centres. The centres will depend on the number of candidates appearing for the exam. Candidates who choose one of the Secondary centres as a first choice in their application forms for examinations are required to give a Primary centre as a second choice.
NIELIT Result
The authorities will declare the NIELIT result on the official website for O/A/B/C levels. The NIELIT results are sent as grades to the candidates, as well as to institutes conducting accredited courses from where candidates have appeared for examinations.

If you are not satisfied with the marks scored in the NIELIT O Level Exams, you can request a revaluation. Please note that you need to apply for the revaluation within 1 month of the declaration of the O Level Exam result 2025. The revaluation process at NIELIT involved a fee of INR 200 per question.
Yes, the minimum eligibility criteria for admission to various courses at NIELIT requires the students to have completed class 12th from any boards, including CBSE with the minimum required marks. NIELIT Ajmer admission to short-term courses is based on the academic merit of the candidates Admission to long-term courses is conducted through NIELIT entrance exam. The application mode is completely online. Students must have passed all the subjects in class 12th. While there is no eligibility criteria for certificate courses, the eligibility criteria should be met for the UG and PG Diploma courses.

There is a facility for candidates to choose to write the answers (the descriptive part only) either in English or Hindi. The preference should be marked therein. In case the preference is not marked, then the choice for the English medium will be by default. Question papers would remain in English

Yes, the candidates will be able to seek the Common Service Centre services to fill out the NIELIT Online Examination Application Forms (OEAF). The required examination fee can also be paid through the CSC services. Candidates are advised to complete the NIELIT OEAF process before the final date to be registered for the entrance examination of their course.
