I am satisfied with fee-wise but not satisfied with on-campus placements. Seniors are supportive.
Placements: Approximately 70% of students get placed (B.Tech+BCA). The highest package I saw in my senior year was 5 LPA. The average salary is 3 LPA. Top recruiters are Witch companies. Very handful of companies come to campus. So there are very less options. None gets internships here. Top role offered in my course is junior SDE trainee.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good, like you can compare it with Kolkata's top private colleges. Wi-Fi is available throughout campus, and labs are okay. Library has all the facilities like computers, books, and all. The quality of mess food is good and not cheap as well.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and helpful. My course is relevant which is BCA. It does not make industry ready, you need to make your own effort. My course is well-relevant and well structured. Teachers do regular labs. This is in-house campus of MAKAUT University. The fees are very low for almost every course. If you want do B.Tech here then you need to score better in WBJEE.
Other: I chose my course as I wanted to put myself in coding environment. I wish to improve my attendance for which I get scold frequently at my university. The fest happens once every year in December. There are scholarships for everyone just ask at university registrar's office. 2-3 hackathons are happen every year.

Satisfied with the faculty members and facilities.
Placements: In my course, about 10% of students got placed in on-campus placements, but students usually crack placement through off-campus for the last few years. But now our placement cell is doing better as corrupted officials were replaced by honest ones. The college clubs are also working hard to train and collaborate. Companies like Infosys, Infotech, etc., visit our college for on-campus placements. This year many students got selected for interviews.
Infrastructure: The college on-campus is at Haringhata, Nadia. Salt Lake is the city office and not the college's main campus. Our college has 24x7 Wi-Fi, a huge collection of books in a library, a reading room, a digital study room in a library, smart classrooms, neat and clean surroundings, a well-equipped lab, gym, playground, NSS, NCC, smart buildings, lift, 24x7 electricity and generator. There is low-cost food at the hostel canteen. It provides 1 boys' hostel with almost 200 capacity on the campus area. It also provides 2 girls' hostels, one is on campus and another one is at Kalyani. Second hostel is much better because of the facilities provided by it. Central air-conditioned facility is available at every building of the college. The management is poor.
Faculty: Permanent faculty members are the oxygen of this college. Most of them are helpful, highly qualified, knowledgeable, and moreover good human beings. The course curriculum is according to NEP-2020 which is relevant to the current industrial prospectives. They work hard to keep us updated on technology and skills. Semester exams are easy if students are attentive during class.
Other: Students can enjoy innumerable fests here. Annual tech fest, a cultural fest for 2 times, food festivals, freshers, farewell, and adventure activities are organised by the adventure club, which gives you an opportunity to feel a vibrant campus life.

My college experience so far.
Placements: At our university, there are an average of 220 students in our batch. The average salary package offered for our course is 1.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Webel, TCS, Wipro, etc. Only 20% of students secure internships from our course and the rest have to find internships on their own.
Infrastructure: Facilities in our department are neat and clean. Labs are available with all the necessary facilities. Additional facilities such as projectors, complete desktop setups, and smart boards in every classroom are available. Wi-Fi is available and all systems are connected through cable.
Faculty: Faculty members at our university are highly qualified and very helpful. They teach quite well using modern teaching methods like smart boards and projectors. Semester examinations are quiet lengthy but the CA examinations are quite easy. There are 4 CA exams conducted before each semester, out of which 2 are compulsory.

Engaging, challenging, insightful.
Placements: We are in the second semester, so we have not yet given placement opportunities. TCS, Wipro, and Infosys have partnered with the college to provide good internships. Unfortunately, the placements for B.Tech, BCA, and B.Sc. in IT are too bad and poor.
Infrastructure: MAKAUT's main campus is located on about 40 acres of land in Haringhata, Nadia WB. The campus has a library with a large collection of books and journals, as well as a variety of labs including Chemistry, Computer, Electrical, Electronics, Language, and Physics. The campus also has hostels for both male and female students, and there are a total of four canteens on campus.
Faculty: All the teachers on our campus are really helpful, well qualified, and experienced. The course curriculum is very relevant and related to our professions, which will help us to crack the job interview. However, most of the faculty are subpar at teaching, despite their impressive qualifications.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to pursue a career in the tech field. While studying here, I participated in and helped organize many events, including Anweshan (the main fest), Ajantrik (the freshers event), and the farewell event.

Inside the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT).
Placements: As we are the 2023–27 batch, we are in the second year, but have come to know from seniors and passed-out students that the placement average is very low here on campus. If you have knowledge and skills according to market demand, then you can crack averagely 4–5 LPA (exceptionally more), but the placement percentage is low for on campus. And obviously, B.Tech gets better opportunities than BCA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is also average. But the campus is better than some non-government colleges. Buildings and their AC system and elevator systems are quite good. Labs and workshop space are available on this campus, but mostly in the case of BCA, we get many lab rooms, but most of the computers are not working or have some technical issues. Otherwise, hostel accommodation is quite good. Canteen food is average in taste and health. But the water system is good here. Here you can get a multipurpose gym for boys and girls separately. But the trainer remains missing most of the time. In one sentence, it is not 5-star, but still manageable as per the course fee.
Faculty: Some departments are very good, and some are average in the faculty system. Some faculty members are very helpful, knowledgeable, and student-friendly, but many are totally opposite to those qualities. There are no remarkable extracurriculars, but still, you will get a chance for some competitions and events throughout the year. The semester system is average.
Other: For BCA here, you will get a 4-year graduation course along with various mandatory minor courses, which is quite equivalent to B.Tech. The fee structure is also low here, which is the best thing about BCA. I wish that in the coming few years, the IT department will also improve its lab system and faculty consideration. The campus is good and has a large ground for playing. Here, you can even join the chess club, table tennis club, anime club, poetry club, photography club, singing and dancing club, etc. So, it is good for your joyful college life. The only thing you have to do is to make a balance between your educational growth and the enjoyment of events.

My journey in Maulana Azad University of Technology
Placements: Several companies like Wipro, TCS, etc. Comes for placement at our campus, but only the best candidate is selected, which is the reason for most of the students not getting on-campus placements. But we can take the interviews for our interview practice.
Infrastructure: The University infrastructure is quite big, and there are a lot of faculty members on our campus. There is a library building with a lot of books in it. All books are present in our library building. There is Wi-Fi present in all the floors of the building and is in good condition with sufficient speed.
Faculty: The faculty infrastructure is quite big in our college, and the hostels are quite well, but the food provided by the hostels is not at all good, so most students eat from outside after payment of the hostel fees. But all the other hostel features are great.
Other: Nothing much, but there are several events going on throughout the year. There are tech fests, anime fests, etc. And many more events.

This college is overall average.
Placements: Placement in BCA is average. They are providing only a degree, which does not provide any good placement from the college side.
This year, college is improving placement. BCA placement is not good; placement is average. Wipro, Tata, and Amazon visit our college for placement.
Infrastructure: Overall, college infrastructure is too good; the practical, class room, and library rooms are too good. Our hostel facilities are also good. Hostels offer drinking water, free Wi-Fi, and a gym/exercise room, but do not provide meals. Canteens are also there, but regular pay system is there.
Faculty: Faculty are too good (there are some faculty teachers who are guiding very well; every year, many curriculum is done by college students (example: culture fest, tech fest, sports activities, etc.). And exams are very strictly conducted from the department side, and overall 90% of students clear the exam.

Placements: Around 90% of students were placed, with an average salary package of 3 LPA and the highest package of 10 LPA. Recruiting companies included TCS, Wipro, and Infosys. BCA graduates could find employment opportunities in corporations, consultancies, and government organisations. These recruiters look for candidates with the necessary skills to perform the job efficiently.
Infrastructure: MAKAUT facilities included hostels, libraries, sports facilities, medical facilities, laboratories, and many more. The facilities provided by the university helped the students experience a comfortable and enjoyable learning environment. MAKAUT facilities also included separate hostels for boys and girls.
Faculty: Faculty members were well-trained and experienced and had multiple degrees, as a result, they were capable of teaching hands-on experiences. They made students job-oriented and became industry-ready. You need to know your syllabus practice from the previous year's questions, and you will find up to 70-80% of the questions common.

Yes, you can do it. The eligibility criteria for BCA is; He/she should have completed their senior secondary school from a reputed board and should have secured an average minimum of 45% marks. The admission in the asked course has based the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.
