UPES Dehradun Integrated Courses Admission 2021: Dates, Eligibility & Process

UPES offers several integrated programmes under multiple streams, such as Law, Management, Science, Engineering and more. UPES Dehradun admissions to most of these courses are merit-based. However, for few programmes, admissions are done on an entrance basis. Students, studying in Class 12, can also apply for these courses. 

UPES Dehradun Integrated Courses Admission 2021: Highlights

UPES Dehradun admissions to integrated programmes are open now. Admission to all these programmes is either entrance or merit-based. The below-mentioned table represents the course-specific UPES eligibility criteria along with the accepted entrance exams:

UPES admissions to all the programmes are done through both online and offline modes. Candidates, fulfilling the eligibility criteria, can apply online through the admission portal of the University. The common UPES Dehradun application process is shown below:

UPES admission generally opens in February every year. The University accepts several national-level entrance exams for its UG courses. The below table mentions some of the important dates for UPES Dehradun admission:

UPES Dehradun BSc-MSc Admission 2021

Under the stream of Science, the University offers a BSc-MSc integrated programme in 10 specialisations. Admission to the programme is merit-based, and candidates are selected based on their HSC scores, followed by a Personal Interview (PI). UPES Dehradun BCom (Hons)-MBA Admission 2021

The University offers an integrated BCom (Hons)-MBA programme with a duration of five years in two specialisations. Candidates are shortlisted based on their qualifying exam scores, followed by a PI. Below mentioned table represents the names of BCom (Hons)-MBA specialisations:

UPES Dehradun BBA-MBA Admission 2021

UPES, School of Business offers an integrated BBA-MBA programme at the UG level. UPES Dehradun BBA-MBA admissions are merit-based. The final selection of students is based on their HSC scores, followed by a PI. The programme is offered in four specialisations, which are mentioned below:

UPES Dehradun BTech-MBA Admission 2021

Apart from the above-mentioned integrated programmes, the University also offers a BTech-MBA programme in five specialisations. UPES admissions to BTech-MBA are based on a valid score in UPESEAT/ NEET UG or board merit. The final selection of students is based on their qualifying/ entrance exam scores, followed by a PI.

UPES Dehradun Admission 2021: BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons), BCom LLB (Hons), BTech (Hons) LLB

Under its School of Law, UPES Dehradun offers three professional Law courses at the UG level. All these courses are of five years each, spread in a semester pattern. Admission to Law courses is granted under two pathways that are discussed below:

Apart from these Law courses, the University also offers a six-year BTech (Hons) LLB programme across one specialisation. Admission to this programme is granted to the candidates who have fulfilled the below-mentioned eligibility criteria along with a valid UPESEAT score:

UPES Dehradun Application Process 2021

As mentioned above, UPES Dehradun application form can be filled in both online and offline modes. For offline application submission, candidates can visit UPES Dehradun campus and pay a fee of Rs 1,350 to buy the application form and submit the same at the admission cell at the respective school. For online application submission, follow the below-given steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website of UPES Dehradun (www.upes.ac.in). On its homepage, click on ‘Apply Now’ to process further.

Step 2: In the first step of the application form, pay the application fee of Rs 1,350 using debit card/ credit/ net banking through Paytm/ PayU gateway.

Step 3: Complete the remaining application process by filling in academic details.

Step 4: Upload all the necessary documents along with a passport size photograph in JPG/ JPEG format.

A scanned copy of the below-mentioned documents need to be submitted along with the application form in online/ offline mode:

• UG mark sheets (if applicable)
• PG mark sheets (if applicable)

UPES Scholarships 2021

The University offers over 10 different scholarships under all the programmes. The scholarship amount or percentage differs from course to course. Given below are the details regarding UPES scholarships:

Scholarship for BA LLB, BBA LLB and BCom LLB students:

LLB students are awarded a scholarship based on their CLAT/ LSAT rank or percentile. Details for the same are given in the table below:

Apart from this, LLB students are also awarded a Merit-Based Scholarship. This scholarship is offered on the basis of Class 10 and Class 12 aggregate. Candidates, who have secured an aggregate of 75% in Class 10 and Class 12, can get a tuition fee waiver of 50% under this scholarship.

The University also offers several other scholarships for UG and PG students. Details regarding the same are mentioned below:

• Scholarship for Uttarakhand state board toppers: This scholarship is offered to BBA, BTech, BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons) and BCom LLB (Hons) students. Candidates, who have secured an aggregate of 80% in Class 10 and Class 12 with PCM in the UK State Board are awarded this scholarship. This scholarship is given to 150 toppers of UK State Board. Under this scholarship, 25% of a tuition fee waiver is given to boys and 35% to girl students in the first year.
• Scholarship to girl students: The University offers a tuition fee waiver of 25% to all girls taking admission to any of the UG and PG programmes. This scholarship is applicable for the full duration of the programme. The attendance of a student must not be less than 75% to avail this scholarship.
