IBSAT 2025 Cut off (Expected), Previous Years Cutoff Marks (2024, 2023 & 2022)

IBSAT final merit list is prepared on considering the following parameters- Micro Presentation, Personal Interview and past academic records and weightage. Check below to know the criterias:

• Micro presentation: 25%
• Personal Interview: 25%
• Past academic record: 50%

Only candidates who will qualify the above criterias, will be offered final admission to MBA/PGDM programme of applied IBS campuses. IBSAT 2025 selection process result will be announced tentatively in April 2026.

The IBSAT 2024 results will be declared along with the score and percentile. The IBS admission cut off is decided on the basis of three parameters:
1. The total number of candidates appearing in the IBSAT 2024 exam. The more the number of candidates, the higher the cut off will be.
2. The overall difficulty level in the IBSAT exam 2024. If the exam is difficult, the cut off will be lower.
3. The total number of seats available at the institute. The fewer the seats, the higher the cut off will be.
In addition to the overall IBSAT cut-offs 2024, many of the IBSAT accepting colleges also consider IBSAT sectional score cut-offs. This means that candidates must score a minimum in each section of the exam in order to be considered for admission.
For example, the IBSAT sectional cut-off for the Quant section may be 33%, while the sectional cut-off for the Verbal section may be 25%. This means that a candidate must score at least 33% in the Quant section and 25% in the Verbal section in order to be considered for admission.
The IBSAT cut offs are released by each institute separately. Candidates can check the cut offs on the official website of the institute.

IBSAT selection process comprises of two rounds:

1. Micro Presentation: In this round, candidate will have to present on a topic in brief. Candidates will be given three topics and choose any one topic from it. This is done to test the communication skill of candidates.  
2. Personal Interview (PI): Those who have successfully cleared the micro presentation round are called for PI round. This PI round judges your communications skills, confidence, business aptitude and general attitude. Candidates should remain cool and calm during this final round. 

Candidates who will qualify the IBSAT or any other national level entrance exam will have to appear for the IBS selection rounds which will be conducted in February/March 2025.

Group Discussion: You should be updated about current affairs, international events, issues affecting India and the world, etc. so that you can put forward your opinion and views when asked. You need to have patience and effective listening skills to respond effectively in a group discussion. Remember the interview panel consists of people from college management who are sitting down only to reject candidates and sort the final admission list quickly. So, even a slight mistake can cost you heavily. Personal Interview (PI): 1. Introduce yourself in a very brief and formal way. 2. Limit introduction to entirely yourself. DO NOT speak about parents, siblings and family, unless asked by the interviewer. 3. Give straight and simple answers to the questions asked by the interviewer. 4. Answer in small sentences. 5. To the point and precise answers are far better than beating around the bush. 6. Don’t try be aggressive, overconfident. And definitely, DO NOT try to impress the panel by using some cheesy mugged up lines. It won't work. 7. Dress formally.

ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad releases the IBSAT cutoff along with the declaration of results. The minimum required IBSAT cutoff scores for getting a GD/PI call scheduled at IBS Hyderabad is given below: 1. CAT & XAT 60 percentile and above 2. GMAT 500 + 3. NMAT by GMACTM 150+ The minimum cutoff score for INR 2 Lacs scholarship eligibility criteria is 1. CAT Top 75 candidates with a minimum score of 90 percentile and above 2. IBSAT 2025 results will be announced in last week of December 2025. Candidates who will qualify the IBSAT exam or have qualified the CAT (2023 onwards), XAT (2023 onwards), NMAT by GMAC (2023 onwards) or any other national level or state-level entrance examination will have to appear for the following rounds:

1. Selection Briefing: In this stae authorities introduces candidates to programs and IBS admission process. Candidates must appear for the IBSAT selection briefing round as per given time and date.
2. Micro Presentation
3. Personal Interview: Those who will successfully clear the Micro Presentation round are called for PI round. This PI round judges candidate's communications skills, confidence, business aptitude and general attitude. Candidates should remain cool and calm during this final round. 

IBSAT 2025 scorecard will be released tentatively in last week of December 2025. Only candidates who will appear for the IBSAT exam scheduled to be held in last week of December 2025 will be able to download scorecard by referring the steps mentioned below:

The ICFAI Business School (IBS) releases the IBS Aptitude Test (IBSAT) scorecard online. On release of the IBSAT 2025 results, candidates must check for the following details mentioned on the scorecard:

IBS Aptitude Test also known as IBSAT is conducted for admission to MBA/ PGDM programs of IBS nine campuses. Candidates having valid score in CAT/MAT/XAT/SNAP/NMAT/GMAT/MAH CET or any other state-level entrance examination are exempted from taking the IBSAT exam. The admission process through IBSAT exam at ICFAI Business School (IBS) typically involves several steps. Here's a an overview:
