What is MU-BAAT?

The Masters’ Union- Business Aptitude and Admissions Test (MU-BAAT) is a common entrance exam conducted by the Masters’ Union School of Business, Gurgaon as an integral part of the application process for its Post Graduate Programme in Technology and Business Management (PGP-TBM).

It is mandatory for all applicants, without exception, to take MU-BAAT, as the cut-off score is used to shortlist applicants for the Personal Interview round. Apart from this, the applicants can also submit their valid GMAT, GRE, or CAT scores, in case they have them since the admission panel is open to taking this additional input into consideration.

MU BAAT 2026 Exam Pattern

Q:   Is it compulsory to appear for MU BAAT?

No, It is not compulsory to appear for MU BAAT for admission to PGP TBM programme of Masters' Union. Candidates having valid score in GMAT, GRE, or CAT will be exempted from taking MU BAAT process. Such candidates will be shortlisted for interview rounds basis on the score obtained in GMAT, GRE or CAT examination. 

However, if a candidate feels that his/her score in GMAT, GRE and CAT is not competitive enough, they can opt to take MU BAAT exam. MU BAAT 2026 will be held in three phases. The first phase of MU BAAT will be held till October 19, 2025.
