BET 2026 syllabus is divided into three major sections. These are Verbal Reasoning, Numeric Reasoning and Inductive Reasoning. The BET exam is made to check the English proficiency of the students appearing for the exam. It also checks the mathematical skills, analytical skills and overall management skills. These are necessary for the MBA graduates globally. Each section of the BET exam will have 30 to 35 questions and the duration will be 70 minutes.

Here is an overview of the BET exam syllabus 2026:

  • Verbal Reasoning covers topics of the English Language and Grammar. The questions are meant to judge the candidates hold on the language in reading and comprehension.
  • Numerical Reasoning covers all the topics of mathematics asked in management entrance exams. The questions are based on numeric calculations, interpretation of graphical data and tables, etc.
  • Inductive Reasoning sections test the candidate analytical abilities in a given scenario. It is largely a logical reasoning section with questions in numeric and spatial patterns.

Q:   Is the BET exam more difficult than the mock tests?
A: 

According to the students who have already appeared for the BET exam, certainly the actual Bocconi Test is way more difficult than the mock tests. Someone may get 23 out of 25 in mock tests and practice, can score as low as 30 out of 50 in the actual test. The questions on the actual test are way more difficult and if combined with stress, student may end up getting low scores.

Q:   Is BET Bocconi Test easier than GMAT or GRE?
A: 

The BET, Bocconi Entrance Test is considered easier than the GMAT or GRE. All three tests assess similar skills, i.e. Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Reasoning, Analytical Thinking. But the BET exam focuses on reasoning and management specific applications.

It has a shorter duration and does not include the advance level mathematics as in the case of GMAT or GRE. Additionally, the BET is known for having no negative marking, which reduces the pressure.
