Odisha Joint Entrance Examination 2026 ( OJEE )

OJEE exam 2026 will likely be conducted in the second week of May 2026. Application form will be released in month of March 2026 tentatively.

The following list of documents will be required for the OJEE registration. The students should keep the scanned copies of the following documents:

  • Recent passport-size photograph

  • Signature

  • Left thumb impression

  • Category certificate (if applicable)

  • Class 10th mark sheet (for DOB)

  • Qualifying exam mark sheet or certificate

The subjects in the OJEE exam vary according to the course:

  • MBA: Quantitative Techniques, Anallytical and Logical Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning and Comprehension, General Awareness and Business Fundamentals

  • MCA/BCA: Mathematics and Computer Awareness

  • B.Pharm: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics

Yes OJEE Cell conducts and provides official OJEE mock test for various courses such as MBA, MCA, MPharma, BTech, MTech, MBBS, etc. The purpose of the mock tests is to help the candidates get familiar with the OJEE exam pattern and type of questions. Students understand which are the key topics and their weightage. 

The official OJEE mock test link is made live on the official website of ojee.nic.in. Solving OJEE mock test is an important way to prepare for the OJEE exam efficiently.

No, there is considerable difference between OJEE and NEET syllabus. The difficulty level of NEET is usually higher than OJEE

OJEE and JEE syllabus is somewhat same and different in some places. The OJEE syllabus for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is different from JEE. In JEE, the physics syllabus includes topics such as Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Optics, etc. These topics require knowledge of physics topics.

  • -1 for incorrect answers

Yes, students seeking admission to MBBS programme can apply through OJEE for colleges in Odisha for state quota seats. However, the primary entrance for MBBS remains NEET.

Syllabus for OJEE remains same every year. Minor changes can be done but the core subjects of OJEE syllabus for MBA, BTech, MCA, MPHarma, BPharma, BCAT, etc. remains the same.

There is no fixed OJEE cut off marks declared OJEE Cell. But, based on the previous year trends:

  • Students should have at least 25% of total marks to qualify
  • SC/ST category students should have at least 20% of total marks

To know if OJEE is difficult or easy, it depends on every candidate. The exam requires students to know the basics and OJEE syllabus completely. OJEE MBA exam is easier than other exams such as CAT, XAT, etc. but requires a good preparation, practice and time management.

There is no age bar for the candidates appearing for the exam. However, candidates appearing for BTech Marine Engineering exam must not be more than 22 years of age. Candidates in the final year of graduation or awaiting their result can also apply provisionally.
