JEECUP Counselling 2026: Dates, Choice Filling, Seat Allotment, Reporting Guidelines

As part of JEECUP counselling 2026, candidates have to fill in their choices for colleges and courses. To complete the choice filling, candidates have to log in to the JEECUP counselling portal with their application number and password. While selecting the options, aspirants must keep in mind their rank, reservation category, previous year cutoff trends, and seat availability. The authority will allot the colleges based on all these factors and the preference order of the candidate. Once the choice locking deadline is over, no changes or edits are permitted under any circumstances. The authority will announce the JEECUP 2026 choice filling dates online.

The authority will publish the JEECUP 2026 seat allotment result on the website- jeecup.admissions.nic.in. Candidates will be allotted seats based on their rank, choice filling and seat availability, among other factors. JEECUP seat allotment results will be published for each counselling round. Candidates can check their seat allotment result from the JEECUP counselling login. Candidates who get allotted seats in JEECUP 2026 have to join the college within the allotted time period.

Candidates who are allotted seats in the JEECUP counselling must complete the document verification process to confirm their admission. Shortlisted students have to report to the verification centres with their original documents and self-attested photocopies. While reporting to the institute, candidates need to carry their JEECUP admit card, rank card, application form, mark sheets, domicile certificate and certificates. Only those who report to the institutes with the required documents will be granted admission to the allotted diploma programme.

Documents Required for JEECUP Counselling 2026

While appearing for the JEECUP 2026 counselling, candidates have to carry a few important documents. The list of documents candidates need to carry is given below.

• JEECUP Admit Card
• JEECUP Scorecard
• 12th Mark sheet and Passing Certificate
• 10th Mark sheet and Passing Certificate
• Domicile Certificate
• Reservation Certificate (Category or sub-category, if applicable)
• Two Passport-sized Photographs
• One set of self-attested Photocopies of original documents

The number of seats and reservations are subject to change under government orders until the counselling begins. As per the UP Government rules, the candidates belonging to reserved categories are eligible for a seat. These categories are:

1. Vertical Reservations:

• Economically Weaker Section (EWS) of General Category - 10%
• Other Backward Classes (OBC) if they belong to Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) - 27%
• Scheduled Castes (SC) - 21%
• Scheduled Tribes (ST) - 2%

2. Horizontal Reservations:

• Persons with Disability (PwD) (minimum 40% disability) - 5%
• Freedom Fighter - 2%
• Ward of Military personnel - 5%
• Female Candidate - 20%
