IIM Ranchi admissions are open for all the courses. The last date to apply, when released will be updated here. A few more updates regarding IIM Ranchi admission are as follow:
- The CAT 2026 registrations for admission to the MBA/PGDM course are now open. Registrations end on Sep 15, 2026.
- The IPMAT 2026 result has been declared for admission to the 5-year Integrated MBA programme. Students can log into the IIM Results Portal to view their results and verify if they have been shortlisted for the upcoming selection rounds.
IIM Ranchi Highlights 2026
- Courses: IIM Ranchi courses are offered at the PG and PhD levels. The institute also offers Integrated Programme in Management. MBA is the flagship of IIM Ranchi.
- IIM Ranchi MBA admissions: The institute selects candidates based on valid entrance exam scores. Admission to MBA course is based on scores in CAT alongside WAT, GD & PI rounds.

No, IIM Ranchi does not provide direct admissions to any of the IIM Ranchi courses. The institute has a predefined admission process that all candidates need to follow.

IIM Ranchi Cutoff 2025
The IIM Ranchi MBA cutoff 2025 was released for MBA and other courses. IIM Ranchi cutoffs are based on the CAT scores. The qualifying CAT cut-offs was 95.52 percentile (General category). IIM Ranchi MBA Fee Refund Policy
Any candidate who has been admitted to IIM Ranchi for its MBA/MBA-HRM/MBA-BA programme through JAP may withdraw his/her admission by logging in through the Admission Portal. Based on the date and time which the candidate withdraws, IIM Ranchi will calculate the applicable refund accordingly. The refund of fees as applicable shall be made in due course and after deduction of the cancellation charges as shown in the table below:

The eligibility criteria for Integrated Programme in Management at IIM Ranchi is already defined by the college in a clear manner. The mode of Indian Institute of Management Ranchi course admissions is online. IIM Ranchi Application Process
Admission to the flagship course of IIM Ranchi i.e. MBA is based on CAT scores and Personal Interview rounds. Candidates must apply online for the CAT exam to participate in the IIM Ranchi admission process. CAT registration usually start in August every year. The aspirants must meet the CAT cut off and have a valid scorecard accepted by IIM Ranchi for admission to MBA.

IIM Ranchi offers scholarship through various Departments and Ministries of the Government of India for the benefit of students. Merit cum Means Scholarship
IIM Ranchi has launched a Merit cum Means Scholarship programme, under which scholarships will be provided to 25 students every year. Students in the MBA, MBA-Business Analytics MBA-Human Resources Management programmes, and Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) at the Institute will be eligible for the scholarships. The value of the Scholarships is around INR 1 crore every year.
Merit Scholarship Scheme
The Merit Scholarship Scheme at IIM Ranchi recognises and rewards academic excellence among students enrolled in MBA, MBA-BA, MBA-HRM, and IPM programmes at IIM Ranchi. The Merit Scholarship covers 50% of the annual tuition fee for the students receiving the scholarship in a particular year.
A total of 18 Indian students will be awarded the merit scholarship every year with 2 students from each year of MBA/MBA-BA/MBA-HRM/IPM (BBA segment) programmes at IIM Ranchi receiving the scholarships. To be eligible for the scholarship, the students must have been admitted through CAT (for MBA, MBA-BA, MBA-HRM) or through IPMAT (for IPM).
- For the first year of each of the programmes where the scholarship is being awarded, two students will be selected based on highest CAT percentile among admitted students of the particular programme at the time of admission (for MBA/ MBA-BA/ MBA-HRM programmes) or highest IPMAT score among admitted students (for IPM).
- For the Second Year (MBA/MBA-BA/MBA-HRM/IPM programmes), two students with the highest CGPA at the end of Third Term will be awarded the scholarship.
- For the Third Year (IPM), two students with the highest CGPA will be awarded the scholarship.

No, the candidates do not have to pay any fee for CAT form correction. The facility is provided to candidates free of cost. However, if they have made an error in a field that will not be available for editing during form correction, then they will have to fill a fresh form before the submission deadline and pay the CAT application fee again. So, candidates must review the CAT application form before submitting to check whether they have filled all the information correctly or not. Once submitted, the form will not be editable but of photo, signature and test city.

If you're not able to receive OTP while applying at Indore Institute of Management and Research, try resending or reloading the sent OTP. Wait for atleast 15-20 minutes or change the current netword settings. If this does not fix the problem of OTP not getting loaded, try using a different Email Id
