WB ANM GNM admission is done after shortlisting candidates on the basis of the entrance exam and a counselling process. The ANM course is of two years' duration. The Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM) programme is a diploma-level course. Till last year, the West Bengal Health & Family Welfare Department was the conducting body, and the admissions were granted based on the merit of the candidates in the last exam they cleared. From the WB ANM GNM 2025 session, WBJEEB conducted the entrance exam to facilitate admission to the West Bengal ANM Nursing course. There are 500 seats (263 reserved and 237 unreserved) for ANM courses across various nursing colleges in West Bengal.

The counselling of WB ANM/GNM was conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB). The WB ANM GNM 2025 counselling schedule is available on the official website. Applicants who fulfil the WB ANM 2025 eligibility criteria can appear in the WB ANM/GNM counselling process. The WB ANM 2025 counselling process started on November 15, 2025.

The WBJEEB declared the WB ANM GNM Nursing RESULT 2025 in the form of a rank card on November 11, 2025. The WB ANM GNM results 2025 can be checked by following the instructions mentioned below:

The WB ANM GNM 2025 final answer key was released on the official website on November 11, 2025. The provisional answer key was released on October 24, 2025. The authorities have published the WB ANM 2025 answer key on the exam portal. After checking the WB ANM GNM 2025 answer key, applicants can calculate their predicted marks. WBJEEB first released the WB ANM provisional answer key. The exam conducting body provided some time to the exam takers sone time to raise objections. After that, taking input from the applicants, the WB ANM 2025 final answer key was released along with the result. 

In addition, the exam conducting body has also released the  OMR and the images of the individual response sheets of the candidates on the portal on November 6, 2025. Candidates are allowed to challenge this too last till November 7, 2025. After this, no objection was entertained by the conducting body. 

The WB ANM 2025 entrance exam was held on October 19, 2025 in offline mode. There were multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with four possible answers. The WB ANM 2025 question paper was conducted for 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete. Except for the English and logical reasoning sections, all other questions were mentioned in both English and Bengali.

WB GNM Exam Pattern 2025

The WB GNM exam pattern is important for candidates to appear for the offline entrance exam. The WB GNM 2025 entrance exam was conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB). The exam comprised sixty-five (65) questions. All of the questions were multiple-choice (MCQs) with four possible answers. The exam duration was 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete the paper. The questions, except the English and logical reasoning sections, were provided in both English and Bengali. 

The exam conducting authority, WBJEEB, released the admit card of WB ANM/GNM 2025 in online mode on the official website on October 10, 2025. Students who have successfully filled out the application form can download the hall ticket.
