Applicants for admission to the WB ANM programmes will be shortlisted based on an entrance exam and a counselling process. The ANM (R) course lasts two years. The Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM) programme is a diploma-level course. Till last year, the West Bengal Health & Family Welfare Department was the conducting body, and the admissions were granted based on the merit of the candidates in the last exam they cleared. From the WB ANM GNM 2025 session, WBJEEB will take over and conduct the entrance exam to facilitate admission to the West Bengal ANM Nursing course. There are 500 seats (263 reserved and 237 unreserved) for ANM courses across various nursing colleges in West Bengal.

According to last year's figures, there are 500 seats available for Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery Training, out of which 263 seats will be for reserved categories and 237 for unreserved.

The WBJEEB has released the WB ANM GNM Nursing RESULT 2025 in the form of a rank card. The exam-conducting authorities declared the results on November 11, 2025. The WB ANM GNM results 2025 can be checked by following the instructions mentioned below:

The WB ANM GNM 2025 final answer key was released on the official website on November 11, 2025. The provisional answer key was released on October 24, 2025. The authorities have published the WB ANM 2025 answer key at the exam portal. After checking the WB ANM GNM 2025 answer key, applicants can calculate their predicted marks. WBJEEB first released the WB ANM provisional answer key. The exam conducting body will provide some time to the exam takers sone time to raise objections. Except for the English and logical reasoning sections, all other questions will be mentioned in both English and Bengali.
