Steps_To_Check_SBI_Clerk_ResultSBI Clerk Prelims Result 

SBI Clerk Prelims result is announced online. To check the result, candidates are required to enter the login credentials. The prelims exam comprises three sections English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. The test paper carries a total of 100 questions. The total marks allotted to the test are 100. The duration of the exam is one hour. Based on the SBI Clerk prelims result, an adequate number of candidates are shortlisted for the mains exam. Approximately 10 times the number of SBI Clerk vacancies, candidates are shortlisted for the mains exam. The list of candidates is arranged in descending order of aggregate marks scored. 

SBI Clerk Mains Result

SBI Clerk mains exam result is announced on the official website and displays the roll numbers of qualified candidates in PDF form. The final selection of candidates for the Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales) post is done based on their performance in the mains exam subject to their qualifying the local language test. The marks of the mains exam are calculated out of 200. In the mains exam, candidates are required to score a minimum percentage marks on aggregate. For SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/XS/DXS candidates, 5 percent relaxation is given in the minimum qualifying marks.

What After the Declaration of SBI Clerk Result?

Qualified candidates of mains exam need to appear for the SBI Clerk language proficiency test (LPT). The final appointment is done only if candidates qualify the local language test. SBI Clerk merit list is prepared based on the performance in the mains exam subject to candidates qualifying the local language test. Trained apprentices of SBI are given weightage in the Main Examination by awarding 2.5 per cent of the maximum marks (i.e. 5 marks out of 200 marks) as bonus marks for preparing the SBI Clerk merit list PDF. 

The bonus marks are added to the aggregate score of the candidate to arrive at the final aggregate score. These bonus marks are given only if an apprentice has completed the apprenticeship in SBI successfully and their conduct and performance are found to be satisfactory during the entire training period.  The merit list is drawn state-wise and category-wise. Candidates qualified in the mains exam are placed according to their aggregate marks in descending order in respective states and categories.

What is SBI Clerk Language Proficiency Test?

SBI Clerk LPT is conducted to evaluate the candidates based on their language proficiency. They are tested based on their skills in reading & writing in the opted local language. Candidates who show valid proof that they have studied the particular local language in the 10th or 12th standard are not required to appear for this stage. It is important to clear LPT.

What is SBI Clerk Waitlist?

SBI JA waitlist comprises the names of candidates who are next in line to be selected for the position of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) based on the vacancies arising from non-joining or resignation. Candidates who are close to the final cut off scores are kept on the waiting list. On request, candidates are recruited from the waiting list.
