The AIIMS BSc Nursing 2024 exam was conducted on the first day June 8, 2024, from 9 to 11 AM. Candidates who appeared for the AIIMS BSc Nursing exam can check question paper analysis, good attempts, exam difficulty level, and expected cutoff here. 

The AIIMS B.Sc Nursing 2024 exam took place on June 8, 2024, in the Computer Based Test (CBT) format. Unlike previous years AIIMS Nursing exam will take place over two days, on June 8 and 9, 2024. The first day of testing attracted thousands of eligible candidates to multiple test sites. AIIMS B.Sc Nursing Exam Analysis 

AIIMS BSc Nursing Exam evaluates overall knowledge of students in subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and General Knowledge. There are total 100 questions in exam that need to be completed in 120 minutes. All these are MCQ type questions.

Physics 

Physics section was moderately difficult. It included questions in multiple subjects such as Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Electromagnetism and Modern Physics. Many students think the numerical problems were difficult and these questions required good conceptual understanding.

Chemistry

The section on Chemistry was deemed to be moderate difficulty. Questions were fairly balanced on Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, and Physical Chemistry. Topics on Chemical Bonding and Coordination compounds were widely covered as was on Organic Reactions. Questions included both theoretical and numerical questions.

Biology

For many candidates, Biology was the easiest section. Questions were mainly from NCERT textbooks and covered topics on Human Physiology, Plant Biology, Genetics and Ecology. This section offered easier questions in comparison to Physics and Chemistry, as it required basic knowledge and application.

General Knowledge

The General Knowledge section contained questions on current affairs, basic general knowledge as well as topics on healthcare. It was moderate to easy in difficulty. It provided questions that required general awareness and recent events.

Difficulty Level of AIIMS B.Sc Nursing 2024 Exam

Overall, the AIIMS B.Sc Nursing 2024 Exam was considered a moderate difficulty level. The section of Biology was considered to be easier; Physics and Chemistry were considered to be tougher. Also, time constraints made it more difficult; therefore, time management was very important to the candidates.

AIIMS B.Sc Nursing Expected Cutoff

The expected cutoff for AIIMS BSc Nursing Examination is dependent on many factors like difficulty level of the exam, number of candidates, and overall performance of candidates.  See below these cutoff based on the analysis and previous years trend. AIIMS Delhi will release the official cutoff after result announcement.

General Category: 55-60 marks 
OBC Category: 50-55 marks 
SC/ST Category: 45-50 marks 

Trends and Statistics from Previous Years 

Trends and statistics from previous years allow for an understanding of expected cutoffs and the exam pattern. The 2023 AIIMS B.Sc. Nursing Exam had a similar level of difficulty and had the following cutoffs: 

General Category: 58 marks 
OBC Category: 54 marks 
SC/ST Category: 48 marks 

The findings indicate that the cutoff for the AIIMS B.Sc. Nursing Exam does not fluctuate much and presents only slight variation each year based on the difficulty of the question paper the candidates took that year.

IIMS MSc Nursing 2025 test centres are decided by the exam conducting body, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. The list of AIIMS MSc. Nursing test centres are released by the AIIMS Delhi at the official website.

The BSc Nursing 2026 exam Admit Card will be released on June 19 (tentatively) and it will be conducted on June 27, 2026.

The last date to apply online for the AIIMS Nursing Exam 2026 will be April 24. The status of the application acceptance or rejection will be released on April 29 and the form correction facility will be provided for the rejected forms from till May 3.
