Nursing is a branch of Science that deals with taking care of the sick or elderly. It is an integral part of the healthcare sector. Nurses focus on providing services/care to individuals or communities and are responsible for creating an optimal environment for recovery.There are almost 400 Nursing colleges in Uttar Pradesh which provide full-time, Part- time and Distance/Correspondence nursing courses. Among these, 224 are Private, 26 are Public Private and the rest 17 are Public/Government. 

Q:   How to get admission in BSc Nursing in UP government College?
A: 

To take admission to a Nursing college in Uttar Pradesh, a candidate needs to fulfil the following eligibility conditions:

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • They must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as core subjects.
  • General category candidates must have scored an aggregate of 50 percent or more in Class 12.

To be eligible for a BSc Nursing programme, you must have completed your 12 examinations in science. You can pursue a certificate in health administration or a full-fledged post-graduate degree.

Q:   What is the CUET exam duration for each subject?

As per CUET exam pattern, the subjects are divided into three sections as:

Section I- Languages 

Section II- Domain Subject

Section III- General Test

Candidates will get 60 minutes for each subject. Candidates will not be given extra time.
