IISc Bangalore has released the KVPY application form 2019 online.Last date to apply is August 20. Know how to fill the application form of KVPY here.

Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore has released the KVPY application form 2019 on the official website on July 8. Candidates studying Science in classes 11, 12 or UG first year can apply for the KVPY 2019 exam before August 20 in the online mode only. The exam is slated to be conducted on November 3, 2019. Interested candidates must go through the KVPY eligibility criteria 2019 thoroughly before beginning to apply for the exam. KVPY application comprises 3 main steps – KVPY registration, filling up details and payment of fees before finally submitting the form. Candidates would require a valid email id, mobile number, scanned copy of photograph and signature and debit/credit card or netbanking details to pay the fees. Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is an all-India level scholarship exam for deserving students to encourage them to pursue basic science courses and research career in science. How to fill KVPY Application Form 2019?

Candidates must follow the steps listed below to successfully register for the KVPY 2019 exam. The application process in detail is mentioned below.

KVPY Registration 2019

  • To begin with, one must visit the official website and click on Application tab. On the right click to register.
  • A new window will appear on the screen. Read the instructions carefully and click on Login.
  • Thereafter, a new Candidate Login window will appear where the candidate needs to select ‘Click Here for Registration’ for first time registration.
  • Now, fill in the name, date-of-birth, class, stream, mobile number, email id, nationality and click on Register after entering the captcha code provided.
  • The User ID and Password will be shared on the registered mobile number and email. Use these to login again. And fill the KVPY application form. The first step of registration of KVPY 2019 is complete.
  • Note: One must note the User ID and assword and secure it as it will be required to download the KVPY admit card too.

Filling up the KVPY 2019 application form

After logging in, click on KVPY application form and fill in the personal and academic details, choose test centres and upload photo, signature and other certificates, as applicable in the space provided.

The scanned copies of recent Passport Size Photograph (less than 150 KB) and Signature (less than 80 KB) should be in JPG/JPEG format. Candidates should ensure that both photograph and signature are saved on the PC/Laptop/Other Media. The SC/ST and PWD candidates need to upload scanned copy of caste (SC and ST) and medical certificate (for PWD) in PDF format (less than 300 KB).This completes the second step.

Payment of KVPY Application Fee 2019

In the third step, candidates need to deposit the KVPY 2019 application fee online. This can be done by using a Credit Card, ATM-Debit Card or Net Banking. No other means of payment will be accepted. It is important to note that once the payment is successful and application is submitted, no refund of application fee will be done.

KVPY Registration 2019 – Points to note

  • Before proceeding to fill in the application form of KVPY 2019, candidates must go through the important instructions mentioned below:
  • Go through the eligibility criteria and other important instructions carefully.
  • Keep the scanned documents and bank details ready.
  • In case of incomplete applications or ineligibility at any stage, the candidature will be cancelled.
  • The application fee is non-refundable. No money will be returned to students in case their application form is rejected.
  • Before submitting the KVPY application form 2019, candidates should carefully verify the data for its accuracy. Once submitted, no changes in the application form will be entertained.

  • Candidates can check the status of their KVPY application form by logging in to their account using user Id and password.
  • They should download the copy of the confirmation page generated after the successful submission of the KVPY 2019 application form for future reference.

What after KVPY Registration 2019?

All the eligible registered candidates will be able to download their KVPY admit card for the examination which will be released in the second week of October. The admit card of KVPY 2019 consists the exam details like date, time and venue of the examination along with other information. It is mandatory for all candidates to produce the admit card at the exam centre. Without the admit card, candidates will not be allowed to sit for the exam. To prepare for the exam better, candidates must be aware of the KVPY exam pattern, KVPY syllabus. One must also solve as many KVPY question papers of previous years'.
