It was previously ended on Feb 24, 2025 .

The registration period was January 23 to February 25, 2025.

Fee payment deadline was extended to February 25 ,2025.

So there's nothing according to current process that KCET exam registration might reopen.

 No, You don't need KCET for getting into B.Sc Maths or B.Sc Computer Science in most colleges. As long as you've cleared 12th with Maths as a subject, you're good. The cut off of colleges changes based on the branch, category of the applicant and the competition of the year.For computer Science engineering and Information technology the competition is more than any other branches.A good KCET score for top colleges like BMSCE, MSRIT ranges between 140 to 150 out of 180 for computer Science engineering. For RV college of engineering a rank around 1000 is required for computer Science engineering. In PES University offer good oppurtunities for students with rank 1000 to 5000.
