IGNOU BEd 2025 counseling: The exam conducting body, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) conducts the IGNOU BEd 2025 counseling after the results are declared. The IGNOU BEd counseling dates will be announced a week after the IGNOU BEd results are announced. Candidates who qualify for the IGNOU B.Ed 2025 as per the results will be able to participate in the IGNOU B.Ed counseling. During the counseling process, candidates will have to first register on the official website and select their regional center. During the registration, they will have to fill in the details as asked and complete the formalities, choice-filling rounds, etc post which they will have to appear for the document verification. The counseling schedule varies by regional center and is usually held on Saturdays and Sundays. There are generally four rounds of counseling. Post completing the counseling process candidates will be given admission to BEd courses held at various regional centers across different cities. The seat allotment will be done based on the guidelines defined by the B. Ed counseling Committee.

Important Documents Required for IGNOU B.Ed counseling
Given below are some of the important documents that candidates should have during the time of counseling:
- IGNOU B.Ed mark sheet
- IGNOU call/counseling letter
- Academic certificates
- Character certificate
- Domicile certificate
- 2 Passport-size photographs
- ID Proof
- Caste, income and domicile certificate (if applicable)

The IGNOU counseling process involves the
Online Registration
- Qualified candidates are needed to register on the counselling portal.
- Now, log in using the credentials.
- Fill in all personal details in the registration form and log in.
Payment
After logging in, candidates need to make an online payment for registration and the advanced college fee payment.
Document Verification
All the educational documents will be verified by the exam authorities. After the verification of documents for BEd colleges admission, aspirants will receive an OTP on their registered mobile number. Candidates can save the OTP for further use.
Choice Filling
After document verification, candidates will now be required to fill out their course and college choices in which they wish to take admission. Candidates will also be asked to submit the OTP received earlier during document verification.
Seat Allotment
The final procedure is seat allotment. Candidates will be provided seats based on their choices and the rank obtained in the entrance exam. Candidates can confirm the seat by paying the seat acceptance fee in the form of a Demand Draft.
