IGNOU BEd Exam Centres 2026: The exam conducting body, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) sets the exam centers where the IGNOU BEd entrance exam will be conducted. The IGNOU BEd Entrance Test 2026 exam date is yet to be out. Candidates can check the below table to learn about the IGNOU B.ED entrance exam centers. It may be noted that candidates can choose four examination cities in order of their preference at the time of filling out the IGNOU BEd application form 2026. The exam body Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has released the IGNOU B.Ed entrance exam dates. Candidates who successfull submit the application form of IGNOU BEd 2025 before the last date will be issued the admit card to appear in the exam. The IGNOU BEd entrance exam will be conducted on March 16, 2025 to shortlist candidates for BEd course offered at IGNOU through distance learning mode.
The IGNOU BEd is conducted across multiple exam centers across, covering major cities. Candidates can select their preferred exam center while filling out the application form, but the final allotment depends on availability. The exact exam center details will be mentioned on the IGNOU BEd admit card. It's recommended to visit the center a day before the exam to avoid last-minute confusion and delays on the exam day.
As IGNOU is one of the largest open univsities in the world and provides qualify education. The IGNOU BEd programme is recognised by the NCTE vide their Letters No. F3/DL-83/99/7807-7812 dated 31/05/1999 and NRC/NCTE/OL-83/dated 23/10/2015 is offered in NCTE-approved B.Ed. Training Colleges of Education in the country.
Along with the IGNOU BEd admit card, the following documents are permitted inside the IGNOU BEd exam centre:
- Valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar card, Driving License, Passport, PAN card, Voter ID)
- Passport-size photograph (same as the one uploaded in the application). Ensure the photo and signature on the ID match those on the admit card.
Without these, entry will not be allowed, it is also advisable to carry a copy of the application form printout however it is not mandatory. This is just for a safer side. Candidates must arrive at the exam centre well before the reporting time.
