TS EdCET Counselling 2025 (Started): Check Fees & Registration Process

TSEdCET Counselling 2025: The exam conducting body, Kakatiya University, started the TGEdCET 2025 counselling schedule for the final phase on August 28. The TSEdCET 2025 counselling is conducted for candidates who qualify in the TG EdCET 2025. They can start by registering for the counselling process on the official website. tgche.ac.in. by logging in using their credentials - hall ticket number and rank. As per the released schedule, the candidates will be allotted colleges between September 12 and September 16 to pursue the BEd Course as per their merit and choice filling. TS EdCET 2025 Counselling

Candidates qualifying for the exam, can appear for a TSEdCET web counselling session on the prescribed date from any place having an internet facility (helpline centre, home, etc). However, before candidates exercise their web options, they need to be present at the helpline centre with all the relevant documents as mentioned below:

Degree certificate of qualifying exam and memorandum of marks	Intermediate memo-cum pass certificate or its equivalent
SSC or its equivalent marks memo	Study certificates from class IX to graduation
Residence certificate (in case where the candidate had private study without any institutionalized education)	Residence certificate of either of parents in Telangana for 10 years in case of non-local candidates excluding the period of employment outside the state. This certificate should be obtained from the Tahsildar.
Transfer certificate (TC)	Income certificate issued on or after April 1, 2017
Aadhar card	Caste certificate issued by competent authority (in case of SC/ST/BC)
PH/CAP/NCC/sports/Minority certificate (mentioned in graduation/post-graduation TC) certificates wherever applicable	Xerox copies of two sets of the original certificates

At the helpline centre, candidates are called for registration and verification of documents rank-wise. At the time of registration, candidates also need to pay a processing fee of Rs 600 (Rs 300 for SC/ ST category). After verification is done, candidates can collect the receipt of certificates from the counter. In the receipt, candidates should carefully look for any discrepancy of information and get it corrected immediately.

Web Options

Thereafter, candidates can start giving their web options for colleges. For the same, candidates first need to log in on the official website of TSEdCET using their hall ticket number, date of birth, and rank. Once web options are provided by candidates, these web options are processed on a notified date and candidates are communicated about their seat allotment through SMS.

Candidates who are allotted seats can then download and print their provisional allotment letter and report at the respective college. If seats are vacant, a second round of TSEdCET 2025 counselling will be conducted by the varsity.

Steps to register for the TSEdCET Counselling Process

Participating in TS EdCET Round II Counselling

Candidates who have already attended for Certificate Verification in the First Phase can directly exercise web options for the second and final phase of Counseling as per the schedule. Candidates

Who secured a seat in phase I of web-based counselling and wishes to move to another college?
Candidates who participated in phase I of web-based counselling and could not secure a seat.
Candidates who did not participate in phase I, even though he/she has been called for counselling.
Candidates who were allotted a seat but didn’t report.
A candidate allotted a seat in phase I but cancelled his / her admission.

The candidates may note that,

Options exercised for the first phase will not be considered for the second & final phase of counselling.
Candidates have to exercise fresh options for each phase of web-based counselling.
In case they are satisfied with the previous allotment, options need not be exercised again.
Options may be exercised for those colleges even if the vacancies are not available, as vacancies may arise due to sliding, cancellation and conversions.

If the candidate secures a seat in Phase–II, he/she will lose the claim on the earlier allotted college, and has to report to the new college by downloading the allotment letter
on or before the date furnished in the allotment letter. Failing to report within the date furnished in the allotted college, the candidate will forfeit the claim on the new college as well as in the old college.
