AKTU MCom Eligibility & Highlights 2025

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University offers full-time Master of Commerce (MCom) through its affiliated colleges. The duration of the postgraduate degree programme is two years. Besides the full-time courses, the university also provides a part-time MCom course through BIRTM.

Step 1: AKTU MCom Application Process

The admission process begins with the online application process. Interested candidates refer to the following step-wise application process for the MCom admission at AKTU:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the AKTU-affiliated institute offering MCom.

Step 2: Click on 'Apply Now' on the Home page.

Step 3: Register with the basic details.

Step 4: Fill out the application form.

Step 5: Upload the documents and pay the application fee.

Step 6: Submit the form.

Step 2: Selection Rounds

AKTU MCom admission is merit-based. Candidates are selected based on their merit in the last qualified exam (Bachelor's Degree/equivalent), eligibility and seat availability. Selected candidates must proceed to the final step of the admission process.

Step 3: Admission Confirmation

Not satisfied with the college only because of the covid-19 situation.

Placements: The placement was too bad this year because of the covid-19 situation. Only about 1 or 2 students got the job in the placement. The highest package was 2.2L and the lowest was 1.8L. Some banks came for the placement. None of the student were selected for the internship programme.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was good. And classroom was fully air-conditioned. But non of the student can access. Wi-Fi facility it's only for teachers. The library was full of books but their condition was not that good. The canteen area was good but not sure about the hostel.

Faculty: Teachers of every department were very helpful. There always try their best to solve the problems of students. And they were great at teaching. Semester exams was a bit difficult because of the covid-19 situation. In exams, we got less time to finish the paper.

Other: Nothing to say.

No placement given. Max lectures are free no teacher came to give lectures.

Placements: No placement is given by the college. Here we students of M.Com were told at the time of Admission that they will provide us placement but no single company came for placement. They are making fool of students at the time of admission by saying, that we are giving placement. But no placement is given.

Infrastructure: The classroom is good but ACs there were not working properly. I was the topper of my batch 2017-2019. But my topper trophy is given to someone else. The worst Management. I complained about it to the principal and HODs but no one takes any action on it. I don't recommend anyone to take admission in this College.

Faculty: Teachers who came to class are helpful but many lectures are free no teacher came in the entire semester. They have a lack of teachers there and especially unqualified teachers and inexperienced staff. 2 or 3 teachers are good who completed full syllabus for our exam.

No, Faculty of Architecture and Planning AKTU does have an offline mode of application with the only mode to apply being online. Students are able to apply through the institute page as long as they complete the eligibility as set by the institute.
