Q: Is CUET compulsory for AKTU admission?

Yes, candidates seeking admission to DR. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University undergraduate and postgraduate courses must have appeared for the CUET-UG and CUET-PG entrance exams, respectively. AKTU will not admit students who do not a valid CUET score. NTA usually releases CUET result in July. CUET UG Counselling is held and conducted separately by the participating institutes. CUET UG Counselling is usually held between Jul and Aug.

AKTU is a state-level, public collegiate university. Formerly known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), it is a University of National Importance, specially for the UG and PG courses offered in the field of Engineering and Science. AKTU is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Coming to the AKTU placements, the university has not released the placement report for the year 2023. However, as per media reports, 1,531 students were selected in TCS. A total of 318 students were placed with a package of INR 7.60 LPA in TCS Digital and rest 1,213 students were placed with a package of INR 3.60 LPA in TCS Ninja during AKTU placement 2023.

I am satisfied with this university.

Placements: There is 100% placement assistance at the university. The highest package is 1.5 crores per annum, and the lowest package in the university is 5.50 LPA. Top recruiting companies in the university are American Express, HCL Technologies, Capgemini, etc.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available on the campus. Labs and classrooms are well-maintained. The library contains all kinds of books, and AC is provided in all rooms. The food quality of the mess and canteen is too good and hygienic. Sports and games are available on the campus. Competitions are also held on the campus.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. The teaching qualities of teachers are good. This course is for interior design, and it is helpful for companies. This course makes students company-ready. Semester exams on campus are too hard, and the pass percentage is 33%.

Average infrastructure but great hands-on experience.

Placements: The placement cell is weak people don't get placed by the college itself 10 percent of the students get recruited from the university, and 13 LPA is the highest package offered by the company but it was outside the college. There are not as many companies only companies like Drute, and TVS come for the MBA recruitment B.Des recruitment cell is not great. The top roles are ui ux designer, and assistant designer.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi only comes in a very small range and the labs, classrooms, and library are okay the classrooms have AC which is fully in working condition, the class also has lockers, and the classrooms get locked after 5 pm which is great too, the library has all the necessary books and its easy to get them issue. There is no hostel, the canteen has home-cooked food, there's a first aid kit, as for sports and games there's is a badminton court.

Faculty: Faculty members often give assignments that can be overwhelming, but some don't have that approach. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares us for the industry. The difficulty level is moderate because the material is derived from content we've already studied. We also have jury exams that cover both practical and theoretical aspects. To pass, we need to achieve an SGPA of above 4.5.

Other: This course is my passion it allows creativity to sleep through every impossibility. Better understanding of topics with better notes no such events are happening in our college but yeah it's in its initial stages, students get scholarships and for the extracurriculars, there are sports fests every year.

Dissatisfied college and poor faculty members.

Placements: At Galgotias University, there are too much of placements but the package is very low. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, HCL, Tata, Microsoft, and Google. 60% of students got internships in my course at Wipro, HCL, Microsoft, etc. Wipro company is the most hiring company at Galgotias University according to my course.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. But the facilities provided by the college are also good. Quality of facility in hostel is quite bad. The mess food is also not good. There are not that much of sports. The medical facilities provided by the college are good.

Faculty: Faculty members at this university are very bad. There is no certain curriculum and nothing comes from their end. Anything that comes from the university like datasheet, practical, jury, and everything is not up to date. Exams are postponed at the same time as the exams are held.

Overall good because, if you compare it with other colleges in terms of money and all.

Placements: I opted for Bachelor of Design which is of 4 years and around 60+ students in each section of the batch, and from each section, 100 percent of them get an internship that is provided by the university in the 4th year for 6 months. After that, more than 40+ secured jobs in a good reputation in the design industry, and among 30% secured top designer roles like UI/UX, graphic, motion design, and product designers. Top recruitment companies are from companies like EY, Mahindra, Deloitte, Jio, L&T, and many more. Top roles offered are like UI/UX Designer, Product Designer.

Infrastructure: All classrooms have multiple smart boards (more than 4) and Wi-Fi. The college has a huge library for every stream. Hostels have a huge mess and in the campus cafeteria, there are more than 50 canteens. For sports, there is a court for basketball, football, and a cricket ground. There is also a special area for archery. You can join the sports club and participate in any sports. There is also NCC and NSS in the university, and more than 30 clubs run in the university.

Faculty: All teachers are NET JRF or Ph.D. qualified. Teachers are very helpful. The course makes the students industry-ready, as they provide internships to grab industry standards. Semester exams are divided into two: one is mid-term of 50, and the end-term of 100 marks, and also involve 2 Internal Assessments of 25 marks. The pass percentage is 33% overall.

Other: The university is too far from the posh area, so make sure you get a seat in the university hostel because the hostel seats fill up very fast, and if not, you have to come from local transport, which will cost you a check of money every day.

Placements: At the end of the 4th semester, students are eligible for placement drive. College placement cell Conduct training like mock interviews and aptitude tests, from the first year of your course so that You know how the placement drive is conducted and how you grab the good package in placement drive. Approximately 95% of students get placed in on-campus placement offers. TCS, Accenture, Wipro, HCl, and many more companies visit college for placement. Many students get internships according to their skills. The highest package is 30 LPA and the lowest is 2 LPA. The average package offered is 3 LPA.

Infrastructure: The facilities provided for students are quite amazing. There is 24/7 Wi-Fi with good internet speed, a playground area, a canteen, and many other amenities. The college has three separate buildings for different departments: KIHE for BBA and Polytechnic courses, KIT for B.Tech, M.Tech, and other courses, and KITP for pharmacy courses like B.Pharma and D.Pharma. Each building has its own library with a vast collection of books, along with a dedicated hall for peaceful study. Hostel facilities are good, although the quality of mess food is average.

Faculty: All the teachers are highly qualified and experienced in their respective subjects, with many holding Ph.D. degrees. Their teaching style is excellent, focusing more on practical knowledge than bookish learning, making it easier for students to grasp concepts. The course curriculum is pre-planned and aligned with board dates, ensuring timely execution. There are two semester exams every year. The exams are not tough if you perform well in college tests and score good marks in those, which translates to good percentages in semester exams.

My Kanpur institute of technology .

Placements: At the end of 4th semester students are eligible for campus placement. Tcs, Wipro, infosys and many more big it company visited the campus for placement. The highest package is 25 LPA and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA. Average package is 3.5 LPA. Placement is totally depend on your skills and knowledge. In terms of placement our college comes under Average. There is no internship provided by the college. Approximately 75% students get placed in campus placement.

Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi campus. Our college is very strict for maintaining decorm and discipline of the college they impose heavy fine on those student who break rule. Labs and classrooms are well maintained and neat and clean as well. There is a huge library in our college which has many books like magazines, reference, and many more course books. There is a huge hall in which you can do study hall is fully air conditioned. Facilities provided for the hosteler is quite good. Mess food quality is awesome and hygienic as well. Fees of the hostel is 76k included mess.

Faculty: Kit has a best faculty teaching staff as compared to other private college. Many teachers are Ph.D. holder and many are passout students they are topper in a particular subject and they start teaching as a Assistant professor. College conduct many test like SESSIONAL, PUT, CT. If you give all the test and score good marks in that you definitely score good percentage in University exam. University exam was conducted within 4 to 5 months.

Other: In Kanpur no private college offer BFAD course except KIT. KIT has a best faculty teaching staff. Many teachers are pass out students they are topper of a particular subject and they start teaching in the college as a Assistant professor. UDBHAV and SHIKHAR is the annual fest which was conducted every year. UDBHAV is the fresher party which was conducted between november and december for welcoming 1st year students in our college. SHIKHAR is the annual sports fest which was conducted between april and may. Our college has made many clubs like GK club, innovation club, social club and many more club which was run by students and head of the club is Faculty.
