AKTU BA Courses & Fees 2025: Eligibility, Admission Process, Seats

A pass in Class 12 with at least 45% aggregate is required to apply for AKTU BA course. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages of admission. AKTU provides admission to BA course based on the merit in the last qualifying exam.

AKTU offers a full-time DPharm through City Group of College, which is a college affiliated to AKTU. The college offers a two-year Diploma in Pharmacy for candidates who have passed Class 12 in the stream of Science. Admission to the programme is granted based on the applicants' merit in Class 12, subject to fulfiment of the eligibility criteria and availability of seats. The DPharm fee at City Group of College is INR 5.2 lakh. The mentioned fee is sourced from official sources but is still subject to change.

A total of 50 companies visited the campus AKTU placement 2024 for IET (Institute of Engineering & Technology). Companies such as Sprinklr, Microsoft and Google offered highest package of 53 LPA, 52 LPA and 49.5 LPA. 

More than 6,000 job opportunities were made in technical and non-technical streams during the 2024 placements. For the Institute of Engineering and Technology, 10 international offers and 44 PPOs were made in 2024. 

CUET PG is the accepting exam for AKTU MBA admission. The CUET-PG examination is scheduled to be conducted in March 2026 (tentative). The examination specific details will be informed to candidates through the Information Bulletin of respective examinations, which will be published at the time of launch of the CUET PG Registration Forms.

AKTU releases its cutoff through its affiliated colleges. The last round closing scores for different colleges varied between 435 and 17104 if you belong to the General AI category. Therefore, it is possible to get admission at any affiliated college of the university at 20000 rank. The top colleges could be Fort Institute of Technology, R. D. Engineering College Technical Campus and Shri Ramswaroop Memorial College of Engineering and Management, with the last round closing score of 17104, 16842 and 16384, respectively. 

According to IET (Institute of Engineering and Technology) placement report 2024, more than 60% students were placed. A total 10 international offers and 44 PPOs were made in 2024. 382 students were placed as well. The highest on-campus and off-campus package offered was 53 LPA and 112 LPA.

AKTU cutoff for BTech is based on All india Quota and Home State Quota. For the Home State Quota, AKTU offers admission to B.Tech. in Agriculture Engineering and B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) through KEAM followed by Counselling. As per the IET placement report 2024, the average package recorded in 2024 was 8.2 LPA. At overall University level (basis annual report), the average package was 4 LPA in 2024. 

Presently, the University houses four constituent colleges, including the Institute of Engineering and Technology, Faculty of Architecture Lucknow, Centre for Advanced Studies, UP Institute of Design Noida. AKTU offers various UG and PG courses based on IPU CET exam through its affiliated colleges. In connection to it, the university has released the cutoff for various All India and Home State quotas. Further, as per the AKTU cutoff 2024, the last-round stood between 151726 and 154086 for the General AI category candidates. Yes, a full-time Bachelor of Arts (BA) is available at AKTU. It is a three-year course divided into six semesters. AKTU offers BA through Janhit Institute of Education & Information and other institutes affiliated to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University. Aspirants who have passed Class 12 with the required minimum score are eligible to apply for AKTU BA course.

The colleges affiliated to AKTU accepts IPUCET exam for admission to UG and PG courses. The basic criteria to get into AKTU through IPUCET exam is to have a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in class 12 and for PG courses, the minimum aggregate 50% marks in Bachelor's Degree. So, if you are securing a percentile of 72 in class 12th, it is more than enough to appear for IPUCET to get into AKTU.

The selection process for the BA course is merit-based. Candidates should complete Class 12 with a 45% aggregate. AKTU admission season usually commences in February every year.
