AKTU offers a full-time BPharma through various colleges affiliated with it. The duration of the UG-level programme is four years. Some colleges affiliated with the university also allow lateral entry to the second year of BPharma. Admission to BPharma at AKTU is based on the CUET UG scores of applicants. Formerly known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), it is a University of National Importance, specially for the UG and PG courses offered in the field of Engineering and Science. BPharm students can avail of AKTU scholarships offered under the regulations of the UP State Scholarship scheme. Every year, UP State releases a notification for fee reimbursement for the students of AKTU and its affiliated colleges. AKTU admissions through CUET usually have seven rounds of counselling. There are five counselling rounds and two special rounds. Students eligible for UPTAC Counselling must register on the official website. The process has started.
Presently, the University houses four constituent colleges, including the Institute of Engineering and Technology, Faculty of Architecture Lucknow, Centre for Advanced Studies, UP Institute of Design Noida.
