B.Ed is a two-year course divided into four semesters. AKTU offers B.Ed through its four affiliated colleges, namely Kalka Institute for Research & Advanced Studies, Bora Institute of Management Sciences, Rakshpal Bahadur Management Institute and Shri Sai College of Education. After completing graduation, candidates can apply for AKTU B.Ed course.

Q: Is CUET compulsory for AKTU admission?

Yes, candidates seeking admission to DR. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University undergraduate and postgraduate courses must have appeared for the CUET-UG and CUET-PG entrance exams, respectively. AKTU will not admit students who do not a valid CUET score. NTA usually releases CUET result in July. CUET UG Counselling is held and conducted separately by the participating institutes. Formerly known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), it is a University of National Importance, specially for the UG and PG courses offered in the field of Engineering and Science. Coming to the AKTU placements, the university has not released the placement report for the year 2023. However, as per media reports, 1,531 students were selected in TCS. Good education, knowledgeable faculty, and overall the best college experience.

Placements: 60-70 percent students got placed as teachers. Faculty was the best here. 40 percent students got internships. Top recruiting schools are DPS, Holy public, etc. The highest package offered was 6 lacs and the lowest was 2 Lacs. I got hired in a reputed school with a package of 4 lacs.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure was good and no hostel facility was available. Canteen was provided with good food quality. There was a library with less books available. No medical facility was provided and no sports or games were organised by the college. Teaching trainings were organised by the college itself.

Faculty: The teachers were very helpful and knowledgeable. Passing percentage was 90%. Course curriculum was relevant with the market trends. Overall, the faculty was very good. College was aided with CCSU so the semester exams were conducted at different centers. Exams were quite difficult but our teachers experience and expertise made them easy.

Placements: There are not many placements, but there is a small placement cell. Our course companies do not come for placements, but we get support of getting internships in schools. Almost every student has to do an internship, which is provided by the college, and it is compulsory.

Infrastructure: It is not so good and not so bad, but moderate for students who just have to do a degree without getting involved in any other academic activities. There is a library section in the college and a computer lab too. There are no medical facilities in the college. There is a small canteen. There are no sports and games areas, as it is just a college for those who just want a degree.

Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive. They will help us in every situation. Their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. I found it best in my knowledge. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate and good. It is made for both below-average and topper students. The pass percentage is also above 80 percent.

Other: I am a working professional, which is the main reason for me to chose this college. They help working professionals to complete their education while working, so I chose this college. It is best for those who work and do their studies.
