The college has released the course-wise NIRF report 2023 and overall placement report 2022. However, no placemnet statistics is available of MBA or MCom department on the offcial webiste. However, as per the overall NIRF report 2023, the median package offered to PG (2-year) students was INR 4.11 LPA during placements 2022. The Annamalai University's highest package has not been released for the 2023 drive. As per the NIRF report 2024, the highest median package offered in 2023 was INR 5.53 LPA and was made to PG (2-year) Pharmacy students. Take a look at the below table depicting the 2023 median package:

Yes, candidates can get aadmission to Annamalai University with a rank of 15000 in NEET PG. The cutoff ranks varied between 1038 and 98486, during the last-round, for the General All India category candidates. On analysing cutoff 2022 with that of 2021, there has been an increasing trend in cutoff for the MD in Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy. Annamalai University NEET PG Cutoff 2024 is yet to be released. 

Annamalai University admissions are conducted based on merit and entrance which may differ as per the course opted for. Candidates opting for UG level degree must obtain a minimum aggregate of 40% to 50% in Class 12. Similarly, candidates pursuing for PG level programme must  secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in graduation. Additionally, candidates require to pursue either of the class from Class 8 to Class 12 along with a 'Nativity Certificate' to be eligible for admission at Annamalai University. Furthermore, candidates must secure valid scores in suggested entrance exams such as NEET UG/ PG, IMUCET, TANCET, CEETA etc. 

Annamalai University DDE offers admission to candidates based on their merit. Aspirants do not have to pass or appear for any entrance exam to get admission in the university. Candidates only need to meet the eligibility requirements and fill out the application form to get a seat in the university. Those who submit the specified documents and pay the course fee are granted admission in the university.

The online/distance degrees offered by the Centre for Distance and Online Education at Annamalai University are valid. Previously, the University Grants Commission (UGC) did not approve its courses starting from 2015. However, Annamalai University DDE  received relief from the Madras High Court in an order dated 21.01.2023. Subsequently, following a reassessment by the UGC, Annamalai DDE achieved a qualifying score of 3.38, which led to extending the validity of its programmes until 2027.
