Chandigarh University (CU) Awarded Best Technical University National Award 2025 by ISTE
Chandigarh University continues to make headlines in the higher educational sphere. After repeating their triumph for the second consecutive year in row at the Khelo India University Games, Chandigarh University has now achieved another accolade in the technical sphere.
Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) has awarded Chandigarh University with the ISTE-KIIT National Award for the Best Technical University 2025. The award was presented to Dr. Raviraja N. Seetharam, Vice-Chancellor of Chandigarh University during the 55th ISTE National Annual Convention held at SMVEC, Puducherry. Comprising a cash prize of INR 1 lakh, a Plaque and a Citation, this award recognized excellence in innovation, research and technical education at Chandigarh University.
About Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE)
A national professional non-profit making Society for the Technical Education System in India, Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) aims to promote teachers’ career development, students’ personality development and overall development of the Technical Education System. ISTE effectively contributes to various missions of the Union Government and has an Executive Council at National level with active membership of more than 1,43,066 technical teachers, 5,35,000 student members, more than 3332 institutional members (including IITs, IISc., NITs and other leading technical institutions), 1488 faculty chapters and 1858 students’ chapters at National level and 19 Sections at State Level. Every year, ISTE organizes an annual convention for faculty and students separately to promote participation and interaction among technocrats, technical teachers, policy makers, experts from the industry etc.

For a B.Tech, I would personally choose LPU. In my experience, campus life, exposure, labs, and chances to take part in activities and projects have all been excellent. I believe LPU provides a more comprehensive B.Tech experience overall because there are many clubs and placement chances.
