Students at Chandigarh University not only received various overall category achievements, but also bagged 8 Gold, 6 Silver and 1 Bronze medal. CU has now emerged as Champions in various categories at the national level. This national-level youth fest, held at the Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology (Chennai),had 142 university.

CHANDIGARH, India - The 39th AIU National Youth Festival 2026 results have been declared. Chandigarh University students continue to put amazing performances year after year. After being the overall champions at the 39th AIU Inter-University North Zone Youth Festival (UNIFEST) 2025–26 earlier this year, CU has now emerged as Champions in various categories at the national level. 

This national-level youth fest, held at the Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology (Chennai), witnessed participation students from 142 universities spread across eight zones in India. Having qualified from the North Zone, Chandigarh University students continued to compete and showcase their skills in 28 cultural events and categories across music, dance, fine arts and literary events.

The team secured an amazing tally of 8 gold, 6 silver and 1 bronze medal, along with overall championship recognition in the literary category. The students showcased outstanding performances across multiple disciplines, such as group singing, vocal solos, debates, elocution, choreography and artistic expressions such as rangoli and clay modelling.

Chandigarh University remains of the Top Teams of the AIU National Youth Festials. The university has consistently secured top positions in the prestigious festival. This accomplishment strengthens Chandigarh University’s position as a hub of holistic development, where academic learning is complemented by outstanding achievements in arts and culture, inspiring students to excel beyond boundaries.

  • Placed: 159 students
     So:

  • Majority get opportunities, but not all

  • Some students:

    • Go for higher studies

    • Or search off-campus jobs
