Candidates willing to take admission in MA in Education at Assam University should have a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in B.Ed. Examination or with at least 40% marks in honours course or 45% marks in UG degree in Arts, Science or Commerce are eligible for admission.

Assam University admission in MA in Education seats are filled up based on merit in the CUET-2023 to be conducted by NTA. However, up to a maximum of 50% of the seat shall be reserved for candidates who graduated from Assam University-affiliated colleges with lateral migration based on merit. Candidates without CUET score shall not be considered eligible for admission in the said course.

After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Assam University offers over 86 UG, PG, diploma, doctoral, and certificate programmes in various fields, such as Engineering, Arts, Science, and Commerce, and for admission in many of the courses and specialisation there are specific entrance exams such as CUET-UG for admission in UG courses, CUET-PG for admission in PG course, JEE-Main for admission in BTech course.
