Absolutely disappointed because of the programme I chose.
Placements: Hi everyone, I am Shailesh, currently enrolled in BCAS's B.Sc. (h) Electronics programme. Placements here are a bit disappointing as in the job mela, the average package is around 2 LPA-3 LPA, and the highest package offered by this college is somewhere around 15 LPA. The faculty is working hard to improve the placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure here in this college is okay and also much better than that of other colleges of DU. I like to highlight that there are no hostel facilities here, but there are a lot of PGs just outside the college, so no problem living in this area. Also, this is an affordable area, not like Dwarka Sec 21. The canteen here is also not good. Sports facilities are also good here.
Faculty: The faculty here is very experienced and also helpful. But please join Electronics Hons if you are very sincere about your studies, because the marks given here can disappoint any student right away. The curriculum is good for our course and very pointed, to be honest.

It has good infrastructure and facilities. Satisfied with placements and extra opportunities.
Placements: Only a few students, like 1-3, are placed in my course. The highest package offered ranges from 4 to 6 LPA. The average package ranges from 1-2 LPA. If we talk about the lowest package, then there are no placements. 20-30 percent of students got internships, and the companies that visit the college are not fixed. Top roles are not offered.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is not available in college, but we can get it in labs and the hostel. Classrooms are clean and large in size. Our canteen food is famous, and it tastes really fantastic. Medical facilities are always available in the hostel and gymnasium. In sports, we have an outdoor badminton court, an outdoor volleyball court, and a kho-kho ground. It has an indoor aerobics area, a table-tennis court, a gym, chess, a carrom board, and a basketball team. Recently, a cricket team was made. Since last year, NCC has been available.
Faculty: Teachers are good, and they take regular classes. They are well-qualified. Their knowledge is outstanding, especially in my course. Assistant professors are not that good. They always try hard, and their efforts are really appreciated. The course curriculum is relevant for students who want to study further. It is not relevant for students who want to go into a different line. If we talk about exam difficulties, it depends on the university because papers are made by them. Our internal marks depend on our teachers. They give us enough marks so that we can pass the end-semester exams.
Other: I chose this course because I want to study, and this subject is my favorite. If students choose this course, then they will have multiple options for their future career. The college should provide us with practical knowledge, like internships, projects, workshops, etc., so that we can relate it to real-life problems. There are a lot of events and extracurricular activities, and they are good. Our fest is good, but no big celebrities came because of timing issues, which ended at 6-7 PM. The campus crowd is average. Connectivity depends on us. The fee concession is provided in our college.

B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics - Batch of 2027
Offered by Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women (Delhi University)

Pretty good as compared to other colleges.
Placements: Students who score between 350-600 are allotted a seat here. The highest package is 36 LPA, and average is 6.5 LPA. Recruiting companies are Wipro, Vodafone, etc. CGPA above 7 will get an internship. Roles offered are HR manager and writing articles in newspapers. The lowest package is 5 LPA. You need to score above 7 CGPA to get an internship.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is way better than other colleges. It has AC classroom and nice canteen. Faculty is corporate, and multiple societies are there. Hostel is provided to 1st year, only mess food is pretty good. NCC and sports are also there for students. Hostels do provide washing machines and good water facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are well-mannered and help a lot, except for some. They teach very well. This course is for students who want to go into the research or teaching field. Semester exams are a bit difficult and need a lot of effort. The course curriculum is relevant. It gives you exposure.
Other: Fest is not that good because of security reasons and girls' safety. Teachers need to give more numbers in internals. This course is way better than other scopes.

B.A. (Hons.) in French - Batch of 2026
2.8
2Placements2Infrastructure4Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Overall, it's good for people who want to explore a new language.
Placements: I am currently pursuing French (H), and honestly, there is a lot of competition in French. Every year, mostly 2-3 students get a good LPA. Like last year, one of my seniors got placement in Amazon with a good LPA. You can even go for an M.A. after your graduation from Sam's College.
Infrastructure: My college is one of the oldest buildings in DU. Though the infrastructure is currently improving day by day, some classes are still below average. My college doesn't provide any hostel, and Wi-Fi is still not available. There is also a lot of network issue.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified, and we even have a proper French teacher who is not from India for tuts. Though semester exams are difficult, and most importantly, the listening and speaking parts are very difficult, you have to be very attentive in your 1st year to clear your basics.
Other: I opted for French because I love exploring new languages, and this course provides me great opportunities to improve my CV for jobs and for my further studies. I wished to have more activities in this course. The college crowd is average, but for the fest in my course, we have Francophonie Day, which is a 2-day event. On the first day, we have Traditional Day, and on the 2nd day, we have an event in which people participate in dance, singing, cooking, poster-making, poetry, etc. But everything is related to French culture.

An extremely green and beautiful college to help you accomplish your goals with a decent crowd.
Placements: Placements in our college are more about going and getting an internship and training, and then approaching big industries with some experience. Many students of our course are in good food industries like Coca-Cola and PepsiCo. In our batch, many students have done an internship after their first year in summer. Many have done it in 2nd and 3rd years too. Teachers themselves provide references for many students to the industries.
Infrastructure: Overall, infrastructure is good. We have a big library there with almost all the books related to different courses. We have a canteen with sufficient space to sit. We have two well-maintained grounds and two badminton courts, one basketball court, and one volleyball court too.
Faculty: Faculty members have a great knowledge. They have a good teaching style and provide information about various options out there. Exams are conducted in a strict manner and no signs of cheating are there. In a semester, there are 3 core exams related to course which are mandatory, one general electives which should be from another course in which one can get minor degree at the end of 4th year. We have to choose one value added course (VAC) and one skill enhancement course (SEC) that contribute to our overall development.
Other: I would like students to visit the library of this college. As most of the students don't go there but it is so good. Students should indulge themselves in various extra-curricular activities also.

Good infrastructure, faculty, and lab staff.
Placements: The average package goes from 4 to 6 LPA for placement. In our department, i.e, food technology. The top recruiting companies are Coca-Cola, Mother Dairy, Veeba, etc. All with the help of the guidance of our teachers. Almost every student gets an internship easily from our department.
Infrastructure: Hostel is not provided by our college. There are numerous PGS and 1 or 2 bhk flats available near the college, starting from seven thousand. Infrastructure is overall good, spacious, and well-equipped labs with great and supportive lab staff. Library is also good with thousand of books which comes under essential reading in the syllabus, and is well spaced and light to sit and self study. Campus is green and very beautiful with a huge playground. Wi-Fi is available in the library and the Computer Science department. Classrooms are well-lit with good seating benches.
Faculty: Teachers are well experienced, skilled, and knowledgeable. They are very supportive to the students. Each course has three discipline-specific courses (DSC), i.e, core subject with one skill enhancement course (SEC), Value addition course (VAC), and one Generic electives (GE) / Discipline specific electives (DSE). The course curriculum is relevant and can make students industry ready. My course, i.e, Food Technology, has very experienced faculty in terms of teaching as well as an industrial perspective, and guides students very well.
Other: The food technology department in this college is value for money. One of the reasons is my teachers in the department. Also, in the food technology department, an active Research and development lab is available. Coming to events and fests, so fests are not so good in our college, but anyone can enjoy themselves at the same time with their friends. The crowd is average, you can find your type of people in college. The option of Extracurricular activities is also there. As our college has many societies like Range (dance society), Moksh ( music society), Akriti ( Fine arts ), women development cell, etc.
