BIT MESRA offers courses such as BTech and MBA as popular course in full-time mode. It is not very difficult to seek admission at BIT MESRA, if the candidates successfully achieve the eligibility criteria. The Institute accepts scores of national-level exams like JEE Main, JEE Advanced, GATE, CAT, NEET-UG, etc. The admission procedure is a multi-level process, which includes application form filling, selection rounds, offline admission process, and document verification.  Depending upon the applied course, candidates are required to appear for the respective entrance exam, Writing Ability Test, and personal interview round. Selected candidates have to pay the prescribed admission fee to confirm their admission and submit the documents for verification.

BIT Mesra offers nearly 12 courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. The offered courses are BTech, BArch, B.Pharmacy and BHMCT at the undergraduate level and MTech, MPharm, MBA, MCA and MSc courses at the postgraduate level. Apart from this, it also offers PhD courses at the doctoral level. BIT Mesra cutoff 2023 has been released for several BTech specialisations. As per the BIT Mesra JEE Mains cutoff 2023, the Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering were 13887 and 19135, respectively for the General All India category. Candidates can refer to the table given below to check out First Round and the Last Round closing ranks for all the BTech specialisations offered at BIT Mesra for the General All India category candidates for BTech courses:

BIT MESRA offers BTech in full-time mode in UG level for the duration of 4 years. There are 10 specialisations that BIT MESRA offers in BTech with an annual intake of 960 students, all specialisations combined. Admission to BTech is offered based on valid scores of accepted entrance exams such as JEE Main. Candidates shortlisted based on the exam score must appear for the JoSAA counselling. If the seats are left vacant after this counselling, then seat allotment for BIT Mesra is carried out through CSAB. 

BIT MESRA BTech fee structure includes tuition fees worth INR 13.35 Lakh. The graduates recieved an average package of INR 10.6 LPA, as per the recent placement drive.

Birla Institute of Technology Mesra considers CAT score for admission to MBA programme. However, it is not compulsory for the aspirants to have a valid CAT score. Aspirants can also get admission through MAT, XAT or CMAT scores. Selected candidates have to further pass the group discussion and personal interview round for final selection.
