A best college with extracurricular activities.
Placements: We have placements in our college, but the package offered is not that good for an IIT student. Some companies other than the specified field also come for recruiting the students of MURP. The maximum CTC for 2017 batch is 6.5 LPA. Some of the internship programmes are also available through the placement section.
Infrastructure: We have the best infrastructure in our college. We have access to labs and department for 24 hrs. We can study freely in the library with huge research database. The student's activities are also very well encouraged. The cultural and technical fests celebrated in our college are above average, but cannot compete with the IITs in the metro cities.
Faculty: For architecture, the faculty is good and diverse, but for MURP, not many faculty members are available. The course curriculum will try to provide unique courses, but due to unavailability of the faculty, it is not useful. You have an opportunity to pursue PhD immediately after the 1st year.
Other: Events and seminars will be conducted in our college. There are many clubs in our college which will help the students to pursue their hobbies and interests. Many scholarships are available for the undergraduate students, but not for the postgraduate students. Search for DAAD IIT sandwich scholarship for more information.

Other: College is one of the oldest IITs in a country which itself describes very much about the level of level of the institute. The college has a very good infrastructure with all studio, library, research as well as sports and recreational facilities for the students. Faculty members here are very experienced and helping and lectures are very interactive. Although hostel facilities are not up to the mark for students in master’s education but environment inside the campus is perfect for study. Placements here are not the best among IITs but is good if we compare it with other institutions in the country.
