The college is good and has the second largest labs in Asia.
Placements: Around 86% of students were placed. The highest package was 20 LPA. The lowest package was 3 LPA. Companies like Tata, IOCL, etc., visited the campus. The top role was offered by a company like TCS in ADG. Around 65% of students did internships and got placed in reputed companies.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms were available with new technology. In the hostel, the food was good and hygienic. The sports section was excellent with many indoor and outdoor games. Students who performed well were sent to college tournaments. Medical facilities were also very good for emergencies.
Faculty: Teachers were highly qualified. They identified students’ strong points and worked on their weak points. They provided personal feedback and guided students accordingly. The curriculum was aligned with industry requirements.

B. Com. (Hons.) in Accounting and Finance - Batch of 2026

College is pretty average. I would recommend not expecting much, it's a good college for commerce.
Placements: After completing B.Com Honours, students get a maximum 2.5 LPA package and get companies like TCS and an internship from them. 100% students get internships from college. Roles like finance or an accountant role are what they get from this course. College always looks after your internship.
Infrastructure: There are no hostels available in our college. For B.Com, there are libraries and 6,7 classes for each semester. The library has lots of books to help the students. No sports or games are available in this college, only for studies. If you want something like that, choose another college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. The curriculum is relevant, but it didn't make students industry-ready. They have to focus on themselves to get ready for the industry. Exams are pretty decent, and the pass percentage is around 85%. Sometimes they didn't give a good score because of bias.
Other: I chose this course to gain knowledge about finance and join an MBA program, which is the main motto. Events and fests are very good in this college, and campus life is good.

Faculty members are knowledgeable, qualified, and helpful. The infrastructure is perfect.
Placements: My college mainly provides degree courses. For this reason, only a certain number of students get placements at the college. The highest package is around 4 LPA, and the lowest package is 2 LPA. Below 10 percent of students get internships at my college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities at our college are definitely better than those at other colleges in our area. For this reason, our college has received an NAAC Grade A certificate. The entire campus is connected with free Wi-Fi. Labs are good, classrooms are modern and digital for many courses. The central library is very good.
Faculty: Teachers for our course are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Teachers like Rajarshi Mukherjee, Tasur Anti Mainan, and Prasenjit Sarkar are highly qualified. As I previously said, our college provides degree courses. It does not make students industry-ready, but if any student wants to study specific courses like B.A. in English, History, Philosophy, or Bengali, and B.Sc. in Mathematics, Zoology, or Physics, then our college is a better option. The difficulty level of the semester exams is medium. The pass percentage is around 60.
Other: I chose this course to complete my graduation and to appear in competitive exams. The number of classes must be improved. Every year, our college arranges a grand event. A large number of students are admitted to our college. Our college is located just beside a state road. So connectivity is very good. The campus surroundings are nice, but extracurricular activities need to improve.

Good college for overall growth through a healthy, competitive crowd and experienced faculty.
Placements: The college would try its best within its capabilities so you can get as many opportunities to build a network, internships and placement. But still, I would say the number of placements is very low as per the records. Still, some good companies come for recruitment, such as EY and Deloitte.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not bad, and students would not feel satisfied. They get the basic stuff that they require. But they would not feel too much satisfaction also, as they don't get a big campus, playground, AC rooms in summer, canteen, etc. For sports, they have indoor games like carrom and table tennis, and they also conduct tournaments for cricket, football and many other sports during sports day.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and they have a lot of experience in teaching. They teach in English but can help you in Bengali or Hindi if required. They also help in any way within their limits. Semester exams are of a moderate to tough level, and the passing rate is very good.
Other: For the new come students, I would say don't expect film campus life in this college. But that does not mean you are not gonna enjoy this college. You would meet some really nice people there who would help in your overall growth. Teachers and stuff try to help as much as possible. Sometimes they try to put a strict character in front of students. But they still do want to help the students if it's within their capabilities.

Really good infrastructure, facilities, and placement in 2025.
Placements: The top recruiting company for my course is Tata Consultancy Services. 70-75 percent of students got placed from my course. The highest package offered in my course is 8 LPA-12 LPA, the average package offered in my course is 5 LPA-7 LPA, and the lowest package offered in my course is 1 LPA-3 LPA.
Infrastructure: My classroom is neat and clean and well-lit. There is a newly added smart board instead of a blackboard. The quality of food available in the canteen is average. My college organises sports every year at Rabindra Sarobar playground. There are so many books available in my college library.
Faculty: My teachers are very helpful, cooperative, qualified, and knowledgeable. The semester exams are very difficult to pass because the question paper is very tough and basically analytical. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes the students industry-ready.
Other: My course is B.Com (Hons). I chose this course because I like accounts and finance. When I read in the 1st year and 2nd year I got the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship.

Come for the education and the vibes.
Placements: Mostly students from the commerce department got recruited and had the opportunity to sit for counselling. It was understandable since arts departments rarely teach job-ready skills to students. Placement was probably the only problem that students face.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was average and nothing special. The campus provided the absolute basic necessities like standard classrooms with fans but the facilities were outdated. There was no functional Wi-Fi. I am not complaining since I studied Political Science and there wasn't much need for smart boards and stuff like that.
Faculty: I can't complain since it's an arts course. It won't make anyone industry-ready but it made us suitable for professional careers. If you wanted to go into teaching or academia it's perfect. If u wanted to go and do something else like advisory or strategic roles it helps as the base.
Other: I don't think I ever experienced any college fest or any other event that included other colleges or other universities. We were pretty much a very secluded college we did not have that many events.
