This university is only for those who prioritize affordability and a peaceful learning environment.

Placements: Almost 35% of students got placed in good company. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 4 LPA- 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA-3 LPA. Placement for mechanical engineering is moderate. Core companies visiting the campus are limited, and students often need to look for opportunities outside. Students aiming for better placement often pursue internships or certification in CAD, solid work, and other technical tools.

Infrastructure: Everything is fine according to other universities. Mechanical department has basic labs and equipment, but it might lack advanced tools found in leading institutes. The central library is well-stocked but may not have extensive technical resources. Hostel and mess facilities are average and they are functional but not luxurious.

The college is in a very good place. The infrastructure of the campus is beautiful.

Placements: Seventy percent of students are placed in our course. The highest package is 7 LPA, and the lowest is 4 LPA. Cipla and other companies are recruiting. The top roles are handled by our placement cell and our HOD. Ninety-five percent of students got internships from our course in NTPC and PPCL.

Infrastructure: Labs are very clean, and unlimited Wi-Fi is available. The quality of food is good in the mess and canteen. Medical facilities are very good because we have an ambulance for any emergencies. For sports, there are two big grounds/stadiums where all games can be played.

Faculty: Yes, the students are ready for the industry. The semester exams are tough and difficult, and the passing percentage is 35%. The teachers are very helpful, caring, and supportive. All the teachers are from IIT and very knowledgeable; they are also understanding.

Other: The course fees are affordable for anyone. The areas for improvement are for non-hostler students.

True review of HNBGU by a Student.

Placements: The percentage of students getting placed would be less than 10%, with an average package of 3–4 LPA; data not provided for the highest and lowest package. Companies like Cipla and others recruit here. All students get internships, which are organized by the college or by students themselves. Roles offered include design engineer, manufacturing engineer, quality engineer, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college for engineering is sufficient, and labs have approximately all the required equipment, although some may not be working. Wi-Fi is available to students for free. Classrooms are digitalized, and the library facility is good enough, where you can find all the required books for the semester, along with a reading room. Hostel availability is not good, and the food is also not so good. You can stay in nearby PGs, flats, or rooms where you can get good food by yourself or from nearby private canteens. Sports and games facilities are available in the hostel, but medical facilities are not too good.

Faculty: Teachers in my department are well-qualified, have a very helpful nature, and have good enough knowledge. The course curriculum is according to NEP and makes students industry-ready; it depends upon students how they utilize the resources. College exams are moderate, and students have to score more than 33% to pass.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest, and this is the course that will not be harmed by AI. Completion should be organized from the first year on. Fests like Rudraksh, Ananta, etc. are held in the college; the crowd ratio is good; connectivity is by road only; and the nearest railway station currently, as of April 2024, is Rishikesh.

College location is just awesome.

Placements: Most of the students go for off-campus as there is a very poorly managed placement cell but from this year onward year there are some mass recruiters like T. CS and as for the average, median, the highest details, I don't have any idea about those. But surely some hardworking peeps got their jobs off-campus.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is very good especially the engineering department. It is newly made and have all of those facilities that a college usually have. As for the hostels there are 3 boys hostels in which 2 hostels are of U. G. and P. G. while the third one is for Ph.D. fellows .

Faculty: Curriculum is just like any other engineering college in India. Surely after new education policy some modification happened but still it's mostly the same. Exams are quite hard and they come really pretty fast and you got a lot of time for the self preparation though.

Other: As for the fests there are some departmental fests. Like engineering department held a fest named Ananta tech fest and there are others also. As for connectivity the college is connected to Rishikesh via road and about 102 km far away from it.

Review of Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University [HNBGU].

Placements: Students got off-campus placements. Some companies visit our college. Top recruiting companies are TCS, etc. If you work on your skills, you can get placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the best. Our college location is beautiful.

Faculty: Exams are difficult. The course curriculum is the same as any other engineering college in the country. Many teachers are good. They provide knowledge about all subjects.

Other: Our college conducts an annual function once a year. The campus crowd is more. Its surroundings and environment are very good.

Our college has less faculty members and does not provide placements.

Placements: Our college doesn't provide placements but students can apply for online placements. The highest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA at Amazon for CSE students. Our college is not good for placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure at the university is good. Labs contain everything. Hostels are well maintained. Electricity is available 24X7 because of solar panels. The mechanical department has everything. Recently, they included a 3D printer in our lab.

Faculty: Faculty members at our university are very less so classes aren't regular. There is less time for a few lecturers to teach. Exams are not so hard. Students get more leisure to learn any skill which will be useful for their career.

I am highly satisfied with our college. Infrastructure is very good, and labs are also good.

Placements: Almost 70% of the students got placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 45,000 per month, the average salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month. Top recruiting companies of our college are Tata, Honda, etc. Above 7 CGPA students got various internships in PSUs like NTPC, ONGC, BHEL and other PSUs. Some students are qualified for other big MNCs.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are very good. The department has its own library, and all classrooms are smart. Wi-Fi is also available in the department, and the department has lots of machines like lathe machines and CNC machines. The department has a big workshop, and medical facilities are also available. Sports are conducted from time to time.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful for students, and all faculty members are well-qualified. They have studied at NIT and IIT, and all faculty members are knowledgeable. Exams are a bit hard, and the passing percentage is 4 CGPA. Industries are ready to take students.

Other: The best thing is our faculty members are very helpful. Lots of events are organised by our department and university, and the campus life is very good.

Our campus is surrounded by mountains and hills. Everything has something plus and minus point.

Placements: Around 70% placed the highest was around 8 Lacs and the lowest was 2lakh its only depends on our talented and skills There is not anything like top recruiting companies as B.Tech department is not so old here Every 100% can get internships. Including Mahindra and Tata .

Infrastructure: To be very honest hostels are much better than any IIT. If we talk about facilities so as a Central University you can guess. Hostels and department are running on Wi-Fi 24/7 and the mess is also good as hostel life canteen is just in front of our hostel where we can SEE greenery And stadium is also fine but gymnasium is fab.

Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and the permanent faculty is well qualified some of them are NITians. As for the first year you 50% get guest faculty Ph.D. scholars). But from 2nd permanent faculty but the good thing is everyone is so caring and helpful. This course curriculum is relevant and it makes the students industry ready.

Other: I chose this course because of the fee which is too much low and a Central University tuition fee in other IITs and NITs is above 1 Lacs but here it's only 22000 and. I wish workshop would better. Events and fest aren't that much good as IIT campuses but its average. Rest this is the best place for extracurricular activities.
