CEPT University Admissions 2026: Fees, Eligibility, Dates & Selection Process

No, candidate cannot take direct admission in CEPT University. Candidate must qualify respective entrance exams, to be eligible for admission. Entrance exams like NATA for BArch, UCEED for BDes, JEE Main for BTech, GATE for MArch, etc. are mandatory for specific course admissions. If candidate does not have relevant entrance exam score for PG course then, CEPT is also enough.

Candidate can take admission in CEPT University after Class 12, only with relevant entrance exam scores. To take admission, candidate must register on the official university website, appear in the respecitve entrance exam, take part in counselling, and submit the fees before deadline. 

The selection criteria for BArch involves Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with at least 50% marks. Candidate must also have a valid score in NATA entrance exam. The seat allocation is done via ACPC or CEPT University. Canidate must pay the fees before due dates.

Yes, CEPT University accepts scores of GATE for MArch admissions. To be eligible for MArch at CEPT University, candidates must clear their UG level graduation with a minimum aggregate of 55% from a recognised board.

• The first step of UCEED 2026 counseling is online registration. Candidates who have qualified in the entrance exam and have been assigned a merit rank in UCEED were eligible to participate in the counseling process. 
• The 2nd step is the selection of campuses. Eligible candidates must register for counselling and select their preferred colleges in order of priority during registration.
• In the 3rd step, seat allotment is made. The allotment of seats is as per the merit rank of the candidate in UCEED and the choices selected. Post the allotment of seats, the candidate has to pay the seat acceptance fee and confirm their admission.

To be registered for CEPT MArch, candidates will have to fill application form with the required details. After all the required information is submitted, the candidates will have to pay the CEPT MArch application fee online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. No other mode of payment will be accepted. The CEPT MArch application fee is INR 3,500.

During the Stage 2 of CEPT admission process, the candidates will be allotted in the remaining seats. It is also to be noted that the score secured in the Stage I of the admission process cannot be carried forward to Stage II. IIT Bombay declared the results of UCEED 2025 on March 7, 2025. The results were announced for all candidates who appeared in the design entrance exam. However, merit ranks were released only for those who qualified Part A and were shortlisted. Part B answer booklets of candidates who failed to qualify Part A were not evaluated. The qualifying marks for Part A were released around the time of the result declaration.
